  1. Blondie... just to let you know, i let it go. I have better things to do than argue with someone on a topic that has nothing to do with basket ball on a web site about high school sports. And for your 411 i am a girl, can you get that. Like i said, if you have anything else to say to me here is my sn on aol, pureXtacy05.

That's Right.....You tell her off on aol....keep this crap off of Coacht...K EAGLEEYE22...Love ya Cassidy....U have the most beautiful eyes EVER!!!!

  2. JamacianBlue, you might think Cosby was overrated but that just shows how smart you are, if you remember we had yall spanked until we lost our lead and yall held the ball, and id like to know how our fans were rude, Unaka was doin the same thing. Cosby can take defeat, it we couldnt then there probably would have been a huge fight after the game, and if you really want i can whine about everything... First, your gym stinks, your bathrooms are too small, father time (your clock keeper) needs to be replaced, and the concession stands didnt have that much variety. Ill take my non-sugar coated comments back to Cosby with me cause evidently you arent man enough to handle them.

Well, you must be that cheerleader "has been" from Cosby....Your team lost....go home...let Unaka go to the Boro and have their fun...regroup and try next year...(or go to college or something)....PeAcE!!!!!!!!!

P.S. Thats cute...pickin' on the concession stands and bathrooms....u must hang out at those two spots often...lol.

  3. This topic is only pointless to you cause you are one of those Creek lovin' something or others, and i said it once, but i dont mind saying it again... the only way Unaka will see the gold ball is in another teams hands, take it classless if you want, i dont care, its the cold hard facts.

    Go Cosby!!!

That's cute Cassidy F.....or eagle22....I guess that Unaka was a little closer to that gold ball than Cosby was this year lol.....Go Rangers!!!!!!!

  4. I agree with Nole and belcher10....I think Greenback may be in the hunt for a state run. Last year their coach added a couple of bigger schools to their list and they handled the competition well. Coach Smelcer has only had a year to work with this program and I expect Greenback to progress each year. Good Luck to the Kees'

Hey Nole.....what suprises might you be talking about???

  5. Well Heck I go to Sweetwater and I don't play baseball even though I should and I played against Helton in basketball and he is an athlete if he can play all of these sports....His attitude is a little iffy but I would take that kid on my team for any sport any day of the week I don't care if it is hop skotch or mumbel peg. He hustles!

Thank You 14SHSWildcat.....What do you think about wildcatplaya#5...is he keeping that Sweetwater team on top??? As for Trae Helton, I agree!!!!!!!

  6. CAK the Underdog ? I'm not buying that one, CAK is the higher seed, ya know that's what the number 2 by your team's name in the bracket means. Wished I could see the Wartburg vs Cosby game, let me know if they have any fans getting 'cuffed on the gym floor like last year, lol.

Reguardless of "Rank", Cak IS the underdog.....I wouldn't want to play Rockwood @ home.

  7. Does anyone in TSSAA really think that CAK could compete with the likes of Austin East and Alcoa? CAK doesn't come close to blowing away all of the competion they face now in single A.

And about the region tourney, There are five or six good teams that are in the hunt for substate but only 2 will make it. I think that it will either be CAK and Cosby or Rockwood and Cosby.

I agree...CAK's basketball program will be hurt if they have to move to 2-a. They are competitive on the 1-a scale and I hope they can stay there, not just for basketball, but all sports. The move to 2-a will provide a HUGE test for their athletic program....about the region championship...CAK, Rockwood, or Harriman will place second behind Cosby.."just an educated guess"

  8. Honey-

We are just taking this one game at a time.

Sorry to look ahead....but the only game ANYONE can lose and still be alive is the region championship game...I was just stating the chance that CAK would have to make it to that point. CAK has a tougher bracket in the region and I think that more people would pick Rockwood over them in the first round. "Look at the % on the Coacht Big Ones"

  9. NOLE,

you have absolutly no idea what you are talking about. I know it is a team effort but 2 strikeout and a popout don't really help his team all that much and we didn't even have a good pitcher throwing. you and this helton kid must be kinda close if you know what i'm talkin bout b/c you think he hung tha moon. and for the comment about the ball in the earhole let them throw it baby cause the will be serious drama when it happens. watch and see!!!!!!!

You would vote yourself for president too wouldn't you "ALLSTAR." I guess you go 4 for 5 every game. How about we do this...

we could start a poll for best player in east Tennessee and place you with 5 freshmen or we could start a thread about how good sweetwater baseball is and how wildcatplaya#5 is the only reason that they are good.

Helton may not be the best out of those counties in baseball, but as an all around athlete, he is the best.....I would take him in a polo match....or billiards, thats "pool" wildcat..lol

.....Hey NOLE, you need to list wildcatplaya#5 on your prospects list....I think he can hang the moon.

Hey wildkittyplaya#5, nole and helton aren't as close as me and helton..were bff.

  10. It's really sad when you see a classy team like Grace get associated with such a classless group of fans. Grace had a history of being crass towards Temple. Last year the entire Grace student section had to be moved from behind Temple's bench for cussing at their players, even going as far as ridiculing them for some of their moral standards. Even seeing those things, it was still shocking to see a school storm a basketball court for winning district. I can maybe see that for winning sub-state or even region, but district? The fans tainted a good victory over Temple into a punk display. In Region, STAY OFF THE COURT.

Very true...It's one thing to win Region or Sub-state but districts.?.?.?.?

  11. CAK will not be intimated by the home court of Rockwood, especially after Friday night. The entire district was booing and jeering against the Warriors and I'm sure it will be no different in the Regions. CAK is the underdog and that's the way they like it. They have a lot of character and will be gunning for the upset regardless of the crowd.

Let's just say, by "chance," that Cak beats Rockwood....Cak's battle for the championship doesn't stop there. Cak will have to play a good Harriman team. Cak has a great team but, I don't think they will make it past Rockwood and Harriman both.

  12. Rockwood will dominate once again this year with there great pitching.

I'm sure they will do great this year. I have played Rockwood in the past couple of years and they don't win due to "great" pitching, it's do to the lack of errors committed in the field and the fact that they have a soild 1 thru 9 in the batting order. Rockwoods not a homerun hitting field. With a strong fielding team they can afford to let teams hit the ball. Wonder if Rockwood will be bumped up to 2a due to the mulitplier???

  13. Cosby[/url'>Eagle,Feb 26 2004 - 10:20 PM] I did the math after the multiplier was passed & I think when TSSAA reclassifies it will move them up unless they do make an effort to enroll less students which would mean less $$$$.

Going to AA might put them in a district with Alcoa, AE, Seymour.

If CAK wants to keep growing and enrolling more students, this move

up would be unavoidable with the new rule.

TSSAA will use enrollment figures from this past January to determine classifications next Fall. CAK's enrollment stands at 280 which multiples out to 504.This puts us in AA in football for sure and on the line in basketball and baseball/softball. The cutoff numbers won't be determined until all schools' enrollment numbers are in. Also, some private schools may opt to go Div. II. There is also a possibility that TSSAA may go to four classes for basketball and baseball/softball.

CAK's high school building maxes out at 320. But, no, we would never keep numbers low in order to stay in a smaller class for the sake of sports. CosbyEagle, I know you said that "tougue in check" but there are people out there who really think Christain schools intentionally keep enrollment low just for athletics.( Cosby is one of the few schools I've never heard whine about the private schools advantage) Believe me, we try to get everyone in who wants a Christian education. We are not an exclusive prep school.

If CAK moves to AA in basketball that means that TSD will make a region apperance as long as 4 teams make up district 3-a......That's CrAzY. I think that the district(3-a) should have another team reguardless to if Cak moves up or not. Doesn't district 4-a have 8 teams?????

  14. I hope a good squad comes out of there....I would love to see a shift in interest reguarding sports at Greenback. I could care less if they win a game all season as long as they beat Rockwood in the region tourny and get "that " monkey of their back. Good luck with getting back into baseball!!!! I don't think those young pups could keep up with us "old folks."

    From your utility infielder, ...........................

  15. Looks like Greenback could play spoiler in the Reigon Tourny.

Hope so!!! I too thought that Greenback would come out with a win against CAK. Hopefully they can get over the hump during the region tourny...Who do you think Greenback will play in the region if they beat Midway??? What are your predictions for the Cosby vs. CAK game??? Does this close win for Cak cause concern for them or better prepare them for Cosby????
