I am really sad that Peabody is not playing in their own tourney. I's a shame. Sisco did not have control of this years team. They disrespected him and they talked to him just like he was one of the kids and he took the beating. He did not have any control of this team. HE HAD PLAYERS WHO CUSSED HIM AND THREW HIM TO THE FLOOR. He did not treat his seniors right so he got just what he asked for. For those who don't know he lost some players that had class and could have really helped this program . I'm not saying these players were stars but they had great attitudes and were very athletic. And being athletic does not make you an animal. He even acused a player who worked hard during the off season, who was not in the streets, who made himself a gym rat ,as a negative player. That player was Tre' Easley. Everyone who really knows, knows that the boy was primed to have a good season. Sisco put those sophmores before the seniors. He will tell you different but his players will tell you the truth. He broke up a group that was runner up in the state in junior high. They lost their love for basketball. Coach Hayner and Coach Wilder earned their respect because those coaches could relate to them. Hayner and Wilder did not put up with any mess but the kids loved playing ball for those guys. Playing ball for Sisco was like going to an unstable job which now has left them unemployed. Easley's dad was very vocal and for good reason. Ask him and he will be glad to tell you. I am suprised he did not take any actions against Sisco. Yes he's disgruntle, not because of lack of playing time, but for what was being said and done. Peabody prides itself on it's athletic programs, academics and safe school environment. When Harry was coach he did not put up with the stuff this guy puts up with. Even when Haney was the football coach he demanded respect from his players. On Friday nights even if the odds were against us, coach Haney and the present coaching staff had swagger and that rubbed off on the players. A 16-11 record in this district is pathetic. A 6-4 record in football at Peabody and making the playoffs is a great acomplishment. Players are not even speaking to Sisco right now. Yes Peabody lost a stud last year, but so did all the other teams. Oh yes, buy the way Sisco let his players down in the district game in which they were down 14 points at halftime and he did not spend 3 minutes in the dressing room . This comes from all the players. What a shame, What a SHAME. The lack of pride and heart at Peabody has to vanish. Good luck UC LC Humboldt Halls. Roll Tide !
