You can't play the games without the refs. Good or bad you have to have refs. So getting on here and bashing the refs will not do any good. You need them and until pay gets better for officals you just have to hope you get the good ones. Yes there are good ones believe it or not.

I didn't say he should have been called for a tech for jumping up nad down if you read the post that I was talking about, It said the player jumped up and down and said I didn't touch him and thats why he should have gotten the tech. i have seen many games and been and offical for 15 years and you are right to many egos on the floor (officals). In 15 years I may have called 10 techs. But if you can keep from calling one its could help you down the road. And refs dont decide games the rules when applied decide games.

I would like to see RBS go to memphis, but if they do it will just be a field trip because they wnat be playing. If they get by Westmoreland they will get Friendship and it will be bad. can't do much against the privates.

Yes the player should have been call for the tech. You must always show respect for the game and the refs are part of the game and the player was wrong by saying that to the ref. Refs don't decide games. Players and caoches decide games. Just because you have 15 seconds left that does not change the rule book. Call the game the same on both ends and for 4 quarters no matter how much time is left.

6 team district #1 and #2 get byes #3 vs #6 #4 vs #5 these games loser will be done then the winners go to the top two for double elimination tournament. Games are played at Monterey.

The school is big enough. It was built to hold both schools HS and Celina so if they did combine. The only thing that is to small is the lunch room. They need to combine or build HS a new one. Its not right not to have the same for both groups of kids.

ELA I didn't mean the last post in a bad way.

Just shows how weak their region is.

I don't think you do but when have they done something right. Just ELA thought they couldn't do it but he also thought he was alright here to. But where is he now.

Take it from me I have been here in Clay Co for 30+ years they are Five or six teachers right now in the system that are not from Clay Co. that don't have tenure. This will be easy for them to do and hire who they want. And I think they have three that will retire this year.

Don't really have anyone in mind. This is just going to be a job that alot people will want and they can open up positions in the system to hire from out of the system. But just look around the area at some of the coaches and asst. alot of very good ones. LA asst. played a Florida, Coe at Jackson Co. even larry White at RBS. I know Larry White is what you are thinking but he would have to think about it. Coach Booher at Pickett heard he was out.

They want have to hire within. They have quiet a few teachers that have not got their tenure so they can move those out and hire what they need.

I'm sure they will have lots of people apply. This will be something to see.

ELA I'm sure it will be someone from the upper cumberland just not in the Clay Co. system now.

I know on the other post alot of names have been put out. But Clay Co. should be in no rush they should see who wants it. I'm sure they will have alot of interest and then get the best you can from that.

No connections just look at the facts. Kimes left the jr high and that was not good when she did so she is out. look at the same with tracie when he was replaced so that will take care of mark also. Farah not certified so she can't Rob's wife don't want him to take the girls. That leaves no one in the system.

The only one in the system that has a shot is Edwards and word is that he don't want it (his wife). Kimes don't have a chance after all that happened when she left the Jr high. Farah not certified so she can't get it. Mark Strong please. We had more than enough strong's already. Look fro the next coach to come from somewhere else.

The director has alot to do with this. Getting a good coach hired will be hard with the ones we have now. alot of good coaches have left because you have a poor director running things. The best coach is the one setting on the bench with Jim Brown and she was in the system at Clay Co. and the people in the schol system let her get away.

This will be a job that alot of people will want just have to wait and see what happens. You are right ELA they have let alot of good coaches get away that would still be there coaching but have left for many reasons and most of them are not good ones if you know what I mean. They need to clean house starting with the director of schools but thats another topic.
