Trying to figure out just who coach17 is. I'm pretty sure just which one. Is he the head coach or the sportswriter who at one time was one of the few writers that would put anything in the paper positive about Unicoi County sports. But something changed because he doesn't have the guts to stand up to somebody and write about them when they win. All he wants to do is rub it in on them when they lose. He works for the Johnsopn City Press not the people of Carter County. The press is a Multi county paper. Write about all teams positive as well as negative. In your home town paper put whatever the people want to hear. Anyway, coach if there has been no politics or anything going on there is no reason why you should have to get on here and defend yourself.

Go on to your remedial classes you have to take to be able to stay in school. It is sad when you envy someone so much that it turns to hate. If he did do what she says he did. Then the school system needs to step in and do something about it. The school system is for the kids not the coaches. I'm assuming she was allowed to miss school because of the death. Did the school punish her.Anyone that would say one week makes the season is a very stupid man because 3 games doesn't make a season. Even if you lose 3 games that can be overcome. If the coach was any type of person at all he would have at least paid respects to the team members family on the death. Thats where you are wrong my friend. I may be wrong but I don't think that Happy Valley can beat them again. You see some times it takes a loss to be able to bring out the best. And I'm sure you know by now the cream always rises to the top and stays there. As for basketball the only chink was Weaver on the bench hurt. Time will tell.

Congratulations on getting over the hump. Just took what 10 years to do it. Now the problem begins. Getting over the hump is one thing staying on top of it another. A letdown is in the makings as the only goal your coach and team had was to beat Unicoi County. Going to the state will be nice for you except for one thing you must remember. To get to Memphis from Happy Valley you have to go through UNICOI COUNTY. One hill doesn't make a mountain and one win is just a hill.
