I agree - Gardner seems set in his ways about starting a certain way at the beginning of the season and not changing. This kid can make a difference - the more time he gets the better he plays. My opinion is - he should start and play most of the game - getting all the bugs out before tournament time. We have another kid that is about 6'8" named Clay Townsend - he is starting to show some signs of being able to play to. Clay may not be a starter at this time, but he too could develop. If he can get up and down the floor a little more quickly - he could be an intimidator.

Jonathan Keck - Lexington High School Tigers Lexington beat a very tough Southside team tonight and one of the main reasons is because of Keck. Keck played against another very fine ball Southside center name Chism tonight and basically out played him. Lexington hasn't passed the 1st game in the Regionals for quite a while. In my opinion, we will have our best chance to win the Regionals just because of Keck. Lexington is on its way up and it is due mostly to this kid. I havn't seen it yet, but they say he is capable of hitting the 3 and has some dribbling skills. This could get very interesting. I think you are going to hear alot of this name in the future.

Congratulations to the TIGERS for their victory over Southside!!! I have watched the Tigers for a while and this Keck kid is the real deal. There is alot of talk about the Chism kid at the game tonight , but I really think Keck out played him. He had a dunk that was just awesome and really put the Southside team in the back seat. Keck is starting to become the true leader for this team. He is one of the key reasons for our victory at Milan. He is becoming quite a force for the Tigers. His point average is climbing - I wouldn't be surprised if he is not in the 20 to 25 point range before the end of the season. I am not sure how many rebounds he had tonight, but he was really a rebounding machine. What do you think???
