The Elizabethton Star should have the brackets in fridays paper. High Schoolers and TAD 8th grade both play squads from West Greene friday night; high schoolers at 7 at EHS and 8th grade at 9 at TAD. Strong 14 under bracket also includes South Greene, Greeneville and Shooting Stars. High School bracket also includes Maryville, Mitchell County and Tennessee (Blount Co) Thunder.

As of right now we are right at forty teams. This year we have added a true high school division (17 and under) in both boys and girls that is shaping up pretty strong. We still have openings but will likely be full by the weekend. Teams from Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina and Tennessee are entered. A good value tournament at $100 per team. All games played on full size courts.

The tournament is to raise funds for the Twisters Basketball Program. The Twisters program provides offseason opportunities for girls in the Elizabethton city school system, from fourth grade to high school. You are showing your ignorance yet again Buki4life80. We are recruiting TEAMS for our tournament though. Last year we had nearly 50 teams from four states.

By the way, the offseason feeder program, Twisters, will be hosting a tournament April 2-4 in Elizabethton. Games played on full sized courts. None of this playing sideways /two games in the same gym. Entry $100. Three game guarantee. Open to teams 9 under to 17 under boys and girls. December 31 age cutoff. First and Second Place trophies and all tournament teams for each division. Headquarters will be at Elizabethton High School.
