If you base the level of your teams competiveness by scrimmages, then you must of never played sports or been around sports very long. Sure scrimmages are competitive and you can see where your team is at as far as strengths and weaknesses, but it is a whole different ballgame when you throw up the ball during a real game.

We will see if that attitude changes by the end of next season which I expect it will!

Depth Perception definitely affects the consistent ability of a shooter if they are use to a small gym. If they go from a small gym to a big gym/arena, then for the most part it will affect your shot. If you went through school playing through a large gym and are accustomed to it, then perception will not be a factor.

Character and Coaching Staff will pull WC to a 21-16 win over the Bulldogs.

Amen to that. It's funny how the rumor mill has it that the team continues to press even when up 40 or 50 points. The Hendersonville paper seems to think the same thing after reading an article about it. No matter how good a team is, when your talking about girls basketball and especially at the freshman and/or middle school divisions, there is literally no way you can continue to score 100 plus points without pressing, snow-birding, and jacking up 3's like it seems that MJ is doing even when up 40+ points.

You should be coaching then if you are such a Basketball Guru lpmarlowe. They have only beaten the Bears one time but, hold on, wasn't that for the District Championship. That's all that matters when you go home at night and that's when you're carrying aroung the big plaque that says "Distict Champions" and not "RUNNERS UP"....
