Just thought it would be fun to start a new thread I counted 95-100 kids at camp today. Roughly 65 varsity - 35 freshman. Was told several varsity members were out due to senior pictures. The freshman team should be pretty stout.

I think C-N charges a pretty penny to rent out Burke-Tarr, plus I guess it's a pride thing for Morristown to want to have it at their place, no matter how much nicer C-N is.

On that last post, CJA told me today that the jamboree was at C-N, but I think Motown plans on it coming back to burke toney this year

DANDRIDGE - Jefferson County head football coach Justin Anderson has announced that his team will begin preseason camp on Sunday, July 22, at 2 p.m. All rising freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors who want to play football in 2007 need to attend this opening session, and arrive at 1:30 p.m. The normal camp hours will be from 7:30 a.m. till 2:30 p.m. on weekdays from July 23 thru August 3. The camp will conclude with a scrimmage at Knox West on Friday, August 3, at 6 p.m. Before the Patriots begin camp, they will travel to South-Doyle tonight for a 7-on-7 passing workout. The two teams competed in a similar practice at JCHS last month. The remainder of Jefferson County’s 2007 preseason schedule is as follows: Tuesday, August 7, scrimmage at home against Knox Central; Thursday, August 16, scrimmage at home against Farragut; Friday, August 17, IMAC Jamboree at Carson-Newman’s Burke-Tarr Stadium. The JCHS Freshmen team will open its season on Thursday, August 23, at Greeneville. The varsity Patriots will begin the year by hosting the Green Devils the following night at 7:30 p.m.

As of right now, Stepp is going to play football. JCHS has a 7-on-7 with CAK tuesday night.

Jefferson County will do 7-on-7 with South Doyle Tuesday, June 19 at 7 p.m. Leroy Shannon Field.

Hey sorry guys, I've hit a road block with the website. I've had to take a bunch of stuff off for a few days. Also Ill be taking a break from coacht, but I know Warlock and others will keep you up to date. Hopefully when I return, the website will be what we had expected and more. Good luck to Jefferson County football as they finish out spring practice and prepare for a new head coach.

Yeah Ive been trying to read up and experiment with some things. I bought the software and a digital tape recorder (it was time for a new one anyway lol) so I can upload audio files. Hmm I dont know Topgun, it is showing up on mine but Im on a Mac. Sometimes internet explorer does goofy stuff. Ill check it on my laptop when i get home. Gotta head to the softball district tourny now. Thanks again, I still have a long way to go. Like I said earlier, I would like to add records and stuff from past seasons. Also, I plan on putting audio interviews, starting with Monday when they name a head coach. I think we can have a lot of fun with it. There isn't going to be an announcement till Monday guys, so sit back and enjoy the weekend King that sounds like a swell idea to me, but I don't know what Sandman thinks about it. Schneitman said today that after interviewing the four again, its pretty much neck and neck between two of them right now. I thought it to be CJA and Cummings, but Ive heard other people think that its Anderson and Hammonds. We'll see here in a couple of days
