No, he got pinned by Devon Martin. Kevin is his twin brother who wrestled 112. These guys are always causing huge upsets at the state tournament. Last year, Kevin Martin beat Tike Gooden, the number 1 ranked guy at 112 last year. Then Martin did not make it to the semifinals, which put Gooden out of the tournament.

In the 130 match with West against the Holimon, I think Holimon should have got a point because West was stalling the whole match. They gave Holimon 1 pt. for stalling in the 2nd period when he did not get up. Then in the 3rd period, West escaped making it 1-1. Then, West stalled the rest of the period on his feet. Then in overtime, he stalled. In double overtime, Holimon got to choose down, and West stalled on top by locking up Holimon's hips the whole 30 secs (Even with stalling, it is hard to hold someone down in double overtime, though). I think Holimon should have won off of a stalling point.

It had to be surprising. Bundy did not even place last year. Bundy had a bad draw because in the quarterfinals, he had to beat Ortiz who had already beaten him by decision and got 2nd in state last year at 112. In the semifinals, he had to beat Tinsley who got 2nd in the state at 103 last year. In the finals, he had to beat Coleman who got 1st at 103 last year. Bundy decisioned Ortiz, pinned Tinsley, and decisioned Coleman. How could that not be surprising? Bundy surprised everyone. He wrestled a great tournament, and he deserved to win. Good job and good luck next year, Bundy.

I watched the match with Johnson and Adamson at the State Duals. The score was about 10-5 at the end, but it was not even that close. Adamson got lucky right off the whistle and caught Johnson in a head throw. Adamson held Johnson in the head lock for the rest of the period making it 5-0. Adamson didn't score again. Johnson easily came back in the last two periods making it about 10-5 at the end. If Johnson is at 103 for Baylor, he will dominate. I have not watched Doster wrestle.

These look like very good rankings, but I think 103 will turn out differently. It will probably be Puckett vs Rudas in the finals, and Puckett will definitely win. Puckett should not have a problem beating any of the wrestlers at 103. He will be bigger, meaner and stronger than all of them (And better). Rudas could get beat by Tanner Johnson in the semis, but I think he will win. Besides 103, I think your rankings are very possible, lowsingleman.
