Well I think it was a big upset when Bornerman lost I honestly think he was better then that kid but they are both good wrestlers...

Chad Turner was over rated and didn't belong there.

That's what the Tullahoma folks said! He did great for a kid who sat out his junior year with a back decease. Also, he controlled the match with old school wrestling wearing shoes from 1977. He only lost 4 matches all year long and they were when he came back, after missing 3 weeks. We knew he could beat the Tullahma kid and Boreman, but knew he would have problems with Ty Cody because of his shooting style.

By the way Chads partner as a freshman was Steve McKinney from Dobyns Bennett (State Champion 145, 2003).

I think Borman remembers that name. Ask Steve if he thinks Chad is overrated or if Boreman could beat him. Boremans great that's why he's been there before.

What a great young Man! I met him outside prior to going inside for the finals. Looks like there is going to be more State Championships coming his way.

Good luck! You and Chad showed what Young men with big hearts can do. Not bad for being put in 3rd and 4th positions. You both had something to prove. They said Chad was overrated! I don't think the Houston kid would say that.

I wish you the best and your team is lucky to have great coaches who love the sport and the young men who put their heart and soul on the mat every week.
