  4. Im gonna say Alcoa and Maryville are easily 1 and 2. Im going to leave #3 blank for now though. Greeneville has the hype to be the best but simply put in 15 games, they didnt play anyone. That hurts greeneville a lot when looking at "whos best". Its the Boise St rule, we cant count you until you do something impressive. If you dont slip the Devils in then give the spot to Webb. Everyone else doesnt really matter to me.

Since Ensworth beat Smyrna in reg season, it should matter.

  5. I only saw 1 grappler ranked from the county. Who else will make some noise at State?

Congrats to young Mr.Roberts at Beech. Been showing a lot of heart since he was a freshman wrestling up and learning the hard way.

    Good Luck!

    Preseason Ranking!

  6. Great Job Commandos. Way to start the season. You need me to help the Hwy wgt.

    How to Sprawl in Wrestling

In wrestling, scoring a take down is a way to build up points and put yourself in a dominant position. While being aggressive and attempting take downs is a good strategy, knowing how to defend against a take down is essential. The sprawl is the primary method for defending a take down.

    Our let them eat trash!

    Congrats COMMANDOS!

    Columbia's 2nd trip in 2 years.

    They looked good last year.

Hope to see HHS bring the Gold ball back to Sumner Co.

  8. I have watched all the teams in Sumner County play this year. At the 5A level 3 teams were very even. HHS, GHS and BHS. Since the Commandos beat the Wave and are still in the hunt I would have expected the other Sumner County teams to give them support on the chase of the Golden Ball.

I have seen very little support on the board.

I really shocked on the sour grapes of the fans from Gallatin and other programs.

I love HS football and don't have a dog in the hunt so I try to go every week and see a great game some where in the locale area. I supported Beech on their run to state last year.

Congrats to the top team in Sumner County still standing! You have my support!

BTW I'm an Old NIL guy and always hated HHS as a young football player. So giving my support when I first moved here wasn't the easiest thing. LOL

  10. Interesting... :roflol: Now that the Yanker says Henry is a for sure win, others jump on board. He gets no complaints at all. :roflol: I absolutely agree with him. The Patriots will win and win big!!! The Commandoes will be lucky to still be in game by 1/2 time!!! :popcorneater: Now that our eastern friends have one of there weapons out hurt it will be a laugher!!! :roflol:

There is always one guy like this from some fan base.

  11. Surely you didn't just give Gallatin any credit. I thought we all played waterboy and lived in trailers up here in Gallatin.

Hey congrats to Hendersonville. I never never thought y'all would be able to go up there and win. I just don't see how the Commandos are winning this year. Besides the line this is the most basic plain Commando team I have seen in a long time. Getting up these last 4 weeks is saying something.

So what would you say if Gallatin got this far? <_<

From what I saw this year. HHC, BHS, GHS were all about equal giving Beech a slight edge. The Commandos proved to be as good as Gallatin the 1st game and better the 2nd.

    Congrats Commandos! :thumb:

  12. Ok smart guy, anyone that was at that game could tell those refs were lost and Hville got most of the calls. Like at halftime they sent the teams off, then brought them back on, then after 5 minutes of pussyfootin they ended the half.(on a Hville Defensive flag I might add) So you can sit there and act like the all mighty Commandos are a legit team, but what I said was true and if it wasn't.you wouldn't have gotten so worked up over it.

    Rumble get a grip!

If HHS is not a ligit team then I don't know what your saying about the Green Wave. Hendersonville beat a Beech team that spanked the Wave and the game the Wave won over the Commandos came down to a last min pass. So if HHS is not ligit that would make the Wave a joke.

Be kind to your team and give the Commandos the respect for beating your team. Support the district are just keep sounding like a jerk that is still crying over last weeks game.

  13. As long as Hendersonville doesn't have their officiating crew, Henry County will get an easy win.

I thought they were trash? Now it's the officials at the Green Wave field. dude your sad. Did a Commando take your girlfrind in HS. Shocked what little support the Wave fans are giving HHS. I been watching the Wave since the late 70's. The Wave team isn't the same and either is the fans. Both have made a turn for the worst.

Except for a few like Greenwave1.

  14. For the record, I think there is a bunch of mental patients running the TSSAA right now. They actually said on 104.5 that they were happy with the current system, and that there were very vew flaws.... REALLY?!?! We already proved that we are better than Hendersonville! Not only that, but they laid a red carpet all the way to Cookeville for Riverdale - while Smyrna, Oakland, Blackman, Brentwood, MJ, and who knows who else is in that bunch have to beat up on each other! This system is garbage. Hendersonville is Garbage. We showed them that they were the inferior team, so why do we have to do it again the very next week?

Some good points about TSSAA. However I was standing in the middle of the Gallatin Fans and don't remember anyone saying they took out the trash or was better than the Commando's. It was a great HS football game. So since the Green Wave Coachwas the former coach of the Commandos in the past. I guess he is a former Garbage man? :roflolk::mrgreen:

It's hard to beat a good team twice. If they play the way they did against Beech then the you should be worried. :thumb:
