Farragut played a real schedule this year. Played 2 former State Champs. Then DB, OR, Bearden and Riverdale.

Farragut was #1 about the same amount of time as the baby birds. Should be a great game. Just keep your boys out of North GA Go look at your Girl Softball State Champ Trophy because that's the only State Champ team the birds can build!

Now explain to me and the others how you think HHS will take district 9. Even if you beat GHS you still have 2 losses which are to MJ and Beech. If MJ gets beat by Beech both have only 1 loss in the district. Even if MJ & Beech had 2 losses they hold the tie breaker over HHS since your Commandos lost to both of them.

This Oak Ridger was perfectly fine with Maryville in 4A. Oak Ridge fans that thought they wanted to have to beat Maryville twice in one year just to get out of East Tn bracket are not thinking clearly. Maryville is a machine that just keeps on rolling no matter who they play against. There just good. I think people hate because they were hoping to see you have a bad year and it didn't happen. Maryville is a class program all the way around. Just have to face the facts.

That use to be said about OakRidge! I have seen some great games on your field.

Why doesn't Clarksville teams play their neighbor to the North? I would think a large percentage of the Clarksville Schools have Army Brats playing on thier teams.

 

How about just the opposite. Ft. Campbell comes into Clarksville and steals the "Army brats" in the city. How do they do this? They put the family on the housing list to get on base. As long as the family is on the housing list, the kid can attend FC high school. Then, when a house pops up on base, all the family has to do is go look at it, say they don't like it, and they are bumped back to the bottom of the list and the kid remains enrolled at FC. When you play on the 2A level in KY and you have the pick of Clarksville, Hopkinsville, Fort Campbell, and the ENTIRE US Army, you are bound to win multiple state championships in a row.

Of course that a problem the Clarksville schools have also. I have seen ot mess up Kenwood in wrestling. What do those William Blount teams have in common? They all lost to Maryville. 2007 game was very close. In 2005 and 2006 Maryville won easily.

everybody in upper east Tennessee has a tendancy to blame losses on the refs... Is this a trend?...Farragut is good at this 'blame the ref' game too. Surely, Maryville fans are not taking up for Billie Blount's losses too... blame the refs.... that's the ticket

I forgot, what excuse the Owls used the last 2 years on the way to State. That must be one small trophy case in Ooltewah HS. Since the Owl's always get shot down on the way to the Championship games, you can travel down the road to Chatt Cen and look at their old Football and Baseball State Championship's trophys. That's the closest your going to get to one.

This is the weakest schedule Ooltewah has had in years. Alcoa spanked McCallie twice when they were one of the top teams in the state a few years ago. Ooltewah has never won anything in team sports except GIRLS SOFTBALL!

Phishdad2-take off you Tootsie roll Pop Owl Glasses and get a grip. The Owls do not play teams like Farragut, Oak Ridge or Maryville in their reg schedule anymore so they will always have a high ranking, The Schedule of the aforementioned teams, is like the SEC somebody is going to get beat. The Owls new district schedule is like the MAC.

It is unbelievable that Farrygut thinks that they can compete with any team in Blount County (with the exception of HHS and WB). What Farrygut does not understand is that MHS does not need any help from anyone they are just a very well coached team that plays with a lot of heart. Im sorry your Ads dont play in 3A or you might get the beat down that you deserve. Much props to the Rebels for taking care of business!!!!!!
