Ooltewah seemed to me like they did have some talented players last year but they never played like a team. They also had a bad attitude during the matches and played dirty. But they did fight hard so thats always something you can build on.

Nothing much has changed lately in A/AA. CCS, CAK, Lenoir City, FRA have been and still are the best programs in the state. Everyone of these teams won't settle for anything less than the state title. I think Oneida could make some noise this year but its still going to come down to the same usual programs.

Who plays in the same district and region the McMinn plays in?

Knoxville Catholic is loaded with talent and experience this season. I'm not too familiar with the other schools in the DII east region but I do know how good Catholic can be.

I don't know if Kingston will be down this year or not, but I can't wait to see them play Lenoir City. That game is always an intense, hard fought game. Kingston v Lenoir City is probably the best A/AA rivalry game.

Excellent point StaynSkool. Nothing against McMinn Co., I know they have had some very good players over the past few seasons, but their schedule last season was not the hardest one around. The only AAA team they played last season that was good was Farragut. But with that said, you can't blame the players for having to play the teams that were put in front of them.

If the keeper for MUS (don't know his name) plays like he did last year in the state final against Christian Brothers this year he will be the best. His game against CBHS was the best performance I've seen in a while. Ridgeway's keep Eriole Webb was very impressive as well.

If Thomas does get more involved in LC's offense by shooting more they should be just fine and make their 3rd straight state tourny appearance. Everyone thats seen this guy play knows how good he is. I think LC lost a lot of players from last year but they always seem to have good players, just like CAK and Kingston in their region.

Thomas of Lenoir City is not a goal scorer. Don't get me wrong, hes a great player and a force in the middle of the field. Im sure he has a great shot but everytime I've watched him play he doesn't shoot much and focuses on getting his other teammates into the attack.

A/AA Rankings AAA Div. II

Have any district 4 A/AA teams had any scrimmages this past week? If anyone knows, can you please post the scores too (even though everyone knows they're just scrimmages).
