  1. Lenoir City won't be in A/AA next season, they are moving up to AAA.
  2. I know that you can receive a special exemption from the executive director to by-pass the independent game rule. I don't know if there is a clause in TSSAA'a bylaws about being exempt for national team games though.
  3. Talent/experience wise FRA is 2 or 3 goals better than LC, but LC usually plays with a lot of emotion which can really help or really hurt them. This LC team is not as good as the ones they have had in the past few years but they do have talent. I have to go with FRA 3-1 in this one.
  4. CAK is just simply too talented for Pigeon Forge. I'm not taking a shot at PF in any ways, just simply praising CAK's team.

    LC vs. CAK

Kaz, you seemed like a good guy before lately, but you really should just drop your grudge against LC's coach. It makes you and Oneida look awefully petty. I know you don't want to put a mark on Oneida's reputation because from what I've seen and from what everyone else has said they are a very classy team.

    LC vs. CAK

I think CAK in the end is just more talented and experienced than LC. LC will put up a good fight, but I think CAK will pull away at the end and win by 2 or 3. With that being said, LC is certainly capable of beating CAK and if they did win I would not be really surprised.
  7. I can only tell you what I saw v. LC, but Loudon did not posess the ball at all until their forwards got it, they just blasted the ball up to them. Loudon's forwards are quick and great finishers but they didn't receive hardly any help from their mids or backs offensively. CAK's passing game will cause Loudon to chase and run out of gas since I only saw 13 or 14 players on their whole team. They did pack the back after they got a lead too. If CAK keeps an eye out for their two forwards they shouldn't have that much trouble.
  8. I don't know about FRA but I would assume CAK would rather play Livingston than LC. LC and CAK is a fierce rivalry game where anything can happen. The CAK players are nothing but class so they more than likely won't answer that on here, but they very well know anything can happen when two rivals meet.
  9. I doubt LC will play that badly two games in a row, but from what everyone says Seymour is very capable of beating LC. I'll say LC by 2.
  10. Didn't I read in another post where someone from Livingston Acad. said LC shouldn't be making excuses for losing?
  11. CAK should win by 3 or 4. They have too much talent for Loudon.
  12. LC played very well as a team offensively against Loudon, they just couldn't finish to save their lives. I don't really see how anyone that watched the game and knows anything about soccer could say LC didn't play as a team. They passed the ball around from touch line to touch line all game and absolutely dominated posession. Loudon just cleared the ball all the time and hoped their forwards got it, and when they did they made plays. I'm not trying to take anything away from Loudon because they have made an incredible turn around the past few years, but LC was the more skilled and better coached team.
  13. lcsoccer, how would you match this team up with teams you guys have had in the past? I don't think they have the talent and chemistry they had last year, or in the previous years, but someone told me LC was kinda young, not sure about that though.
  14. Because Loudon is not just as good as Lenoir City is. I don't have a dog in this fight since I don't play for either team and I watched the game tonight. Loudon did a great job of finishing but posession and the run of play were dominated by LC. LC's finishing was down right pittiful and if they play offense like they did tonight against the CAK's of the state then LC won't score any goals against teams with good defenses. Espinosa (sp?) is a great finisher for Loudon, but LC should have won by 2 or 3.
  15. I doubt that LC will be able to beat Oneida by three goals. None of their recent meetings against each other gives any reason to think they will. Oneida has played very well against LC lately. This will probably be a 2-1 or 3-2 game.
  16. Also, its kinda funny that Lenoir was spelled wrong in the thread title, I know it was just a typo but it is still a little humurous.
  17. Didn't LC only beat Loudon by 1 or 2 last season?

    CAK vs. LC

I agree with Twinkles, I think CAK just has too much for LC this year. LC always has a good team and is certainly capable of pulling off the upset, but I would be surprised if they did. I think CAK takes this one by 2 or 3.
  19. Eurosport scoreboard says LC won 4-1.
  20. Knoxville News-Sentinel says it was 3-3.
  21. Well, they always play better against LC than any other opponent they face.
  22. I saw McMinn play a couple times last year and if their defense does not improve they will not be able to win the state. They had a good offense last year and will have a very good one this year but if their defense doesn't improve then a good defensive team will beat them again in the state tourny.

    Conditioning

How is anyone going to know which team has the hardest conditioning program in the state?
  24. If Oneida is ever going to get past Lenoir City and Kingston this would be their year. Both LC and Kingston are way down this year compared to the last few years.
  25. Mitch anchored the center of that team for the past 3 years. His passing ability and experience will be greatly missed by Lenoir City.
