Big week in district 4. Bearden plays SD and WB this week.

Maybe this thread will pick-up after spring break.

Bearden is in Gulf Shores, Alabama, where they have won two games and lost one. They won against Alexandria and Gordo and lost to Huntsville.

3 games in extra innings for the Ads. Nothing is easy in district 4. WB and Farragut both have two district losses. Bearden plays SD after spring break. Maryville is improved. This is going to be interesting.

It's too early in the season to get too hyped up. They have two good wins. They still have to face Farragut, Bearden and SD. This is a tough district. I think they have everyone's attention.

Were the games @ Farragut rained out??

McGill is WB's ace pitcher. I do not know of Buck.

This is a tough district and with Maryville being improved it will just get tougher. With Maryville 3-0 and Farragut 0-2 (both district losses) it seems to be turning around.

That's two good wins for Maryville. They must be much improved from last year. Just makes district 4aaa that much tougher.

Good wins for Karns and Halls. How many Powell players are on the basketball team? I know Hargis is still playing basketball.

They also lost their first district game to Bearden last night.

South Doyle beat Hertiage 14-0. They play Farragut next. They pitched Chad Bell against Hertiage so Farragut should see Holland.

BEARDEN WINS 3-2.

Bearden might pitch Drake Little as he has come on strong since last year.

South Doyle should be the pick to win the district. They return 10 seniors. Three ot the best pitchers around in Holland, Bell and Brentz. They also have one of the best ss around in Chad Zurcher. Willam Blount is also very good. Their ace is back, Mark McGill. They were young last year and have several very good players back in Andrew Clabough and Morgan Costner. This is a very tough district.

Karns lost a lot last year, at least 3 pitchers and a ss. Powell should be good.
