Facts Only Nothing good can come of this.
1. Cut the order of hot dogs for Thursday to 50.
2. Close two of the ticket gates and have everyone come through gate 72 to save money.
3. Shut the concession stand down for the visitor side, no one coming.
4.Shut the replay scoreboard TV off to save on light bill.
5. If all this don't work GQ will have to go to Knoxville Monday morning and file for bankruptcy protection on behalf of the Maryville Rebels for playing a 1-9 team in the playoff's.
Don't shut off the replay scoreboard TV. I want to see that. We don't have one at our stadium.

Somebody bring me a Bluegrass Underground T-shirt.
I can do that, RR.

As a radio play by play announcer, My answer is people who think I'm the public address announcer. They enter the booth while I'm calling the game, stick a piece of paper in front of me and loudly ask me to announce over the loud speaker an upcoming fundraiser or lost set of keys. Happens at least once or twice a game.

Godd job Lauren. She finished with 18 last night. Tessa King with 10, Macaulli Clendenon and Sarah Roller both had 6 along with others in the scoring column. Did Bree Smith play last night? Sparta pounded it in to Yslas the WHOLE second quarter where they outscored us 25-9. The other three quarters were equal. Good luck in Lebanon Friday night.
Bree was bothered with shin splints and did not play.

wcsports, what happened to the sound or play by play from you and David Harris on the game last night when it showed on Ben Lomand channel 6? Go Pioneers!
The TV guys had a problem with their audio recording.

To answer your question, ELA, Coach Madewell said Dustin Rhea had broken both bones in his ankle. Gotta hate that for the young sophomore. Congrats on the win.

What are some things that can be done to dry out a baseball field?
Two years ago when Warren County hosted Cookeville, a sudden downpour drenched the field shortly before the game was to start. The Warren County Sheriffs Department flew their helicopter in to help dry the field, and after a lengthy delay, the game was played. Not something you'll see everyday.

Good Season?? Why do we celebrate mediocrity? CC has won 3 and WC 4 and we are congratulating them on their great seasons? I remember when you had to actually have a winning season to be rewarded with a playoff birth. I played on teams that won 5, 4 and 7 regular season games and we never made the playoffs. The TSSAA has diluted the playoff system to the point where a 3 or even a 2 win record team gets to the postseason. What a joke. Both teams will get crushed in the first round, but i guess TSSAA will get a few bucks out of it.
I agree the playoff system has been diluted to get more bucks. Then again, remember last year when a 5-5 Livingston Academy team went on to win a state title. I'm not saying that will happen with CC or WC. But you never know.

I hope everyone from McMinnville enjoyed there time visiting.
You have a great sounding band!!
Sequatchie has some of the friendliest folks and a nice stadium. Nice pressbox, too. Thanks for the hospitality.

Sounds like some payback is in order tonight at the Pit. Good luck Falcons. Whup em good.

Jacob pinch hit one time, but was not behind the plate. His hand is badly swollen and bruised.

I'll miss Clyde. Everytime we played at Lebanon, he made sure I got all I wanted to eat in the hospitality room. It was always fun hanging out with him at the District tournaments. He enjoyed his play by play duties and loved the Blue Devils. He was very well-liked and respected by his fellow District 7aaa radio play by play announcers. Going to Lebanon just won't be the same now.

WC 6 CHS 0 Killian pitches a no-hitter. One batter short of a perfect game.

Well, we play at Sparta tomorrow night. We need something to get something going. The season is sinking fast!!! Two questions: Does anyone know where McKenna Rhea was friday night? Do you think she (the coach) feels like she has really accomplished anything at the high school level?
McKenna was competing in the state fairest of the fair contest in Nashville.

I'm the radio play by play announcer for Warren County. I just want to express my appreciation for the hospitality shown to us in the press box tonight. The folks at Maryville were very friendly and helpful. I was proud of the way my Pioneers battled tonight. Maryville has a first class program. Glad we got to see it up close. Good luck the rest of the way.
