  1. oh...well sorry i did get that tourny part wrong...you all got beat by powell and we didnt-thats how we got it---but yeah thats a dumb argument cause its the district tourny that matter(not being cocky i promise cause i see how you all get where your coming from, but i was just stating the fact about the tourny) but yeah good luck to you too...its gonna be fun over here in our district this year

    Halls - West

i guess we'll see tomorrow-it will be a good game!
  4. hhsdevil17-where do you go to school
  5. delmonico could prolly make just a few more plays with the arm and such that iorg couldnt, but im not about to take anything from cale!
  6. yeah he's playin...lookin pretty good! thats my boy and i want to say something--ive said stuff about jeff lockwood on here...it may sound like im bashing him, but he's a good kid and a heck of a ball player...i said something earlier on the board about him being "almighty god"-well there are alot of people that think he's above everyone else-as a sophomore he does beat out alot of upperclassmen
  7. the Trojan Classic in chat. is a good tourny!
  8. well the hitting isnt bad at all this year...as i said ealier lockwood is struggling, but i cant wait till he gets back into it--if things come around as they should, the ball should be pickin up...not a bad defensive team but there's room for improvement all over the field-as there is at all times anywhere
  9. but who would play short? i would say delmonica though cale may be alittle taller
  10. i started several games...i had 2 seniors in front me. Coach Polston thought they produced more so they played more. Seems like your coming across like i am idiot for the stuff im saying. this is all personal opinion and i have that right to say it. im not trying to get hard. but i watch the game and keep up with stuff. and impact i would imagine your from powell. i never ditched powell...i said if you all play together you all will be a team to beat. i dont bad mouth a team until the season is over. and if you all show us up(could happen easily) then there will be no bad mouthing. i doubt ill bad mouth at all. but yeah i did thanx well we didnt pitch much power after larson so yeah they pinged alot, but the experience that one of our junior pitcher has at the varsity level i think he did fine and our lefty is a junk baller and he got alittle tired(not making excuses) we had a key player/pitcher (spencer turner) sick last night we scrimmage west tomorrow-it should be good
  11. Delmonico from farragut and Lockwood from Halls are exceptional players!
  12. delmonico pitched last night...his curveball looked pretty good and he was throwin pretty darn hard...he was batting lefty and had a good hit but tried out his summer league team mate lockwoods arm and was rung at second
  13. well you know how he cocks all the way and just sits on his back foot...but lockwood's curveball threw him for a loop last year. i do not believe ive seen him hit a ball solid to dead right. but then again i did see him jack one right center-more towards center
  14. Thank God we got a new assistant coach(Coach Collet-Former head coach of Catholic) here at Halls. I love Coach Tommy Noe but the poor man can hardly hit 4 balls without getting tired! LOL but yeah Coach Polston usually doesnt get out there but the new coach can hit where he wants it and as hard or soft as he wants. lol this message topic cracks me up...but fungo hitting helps the IF and OF alot.
  15. i forgot something about karns...cale can do alot himself and with owenby there will be some close games! cale can rope
  16. well powell isnt looking to strong this year...not much pitching depth and treece is their only true power hitter. but if they play as a team they will be one of the teams to beat. i forgot about plumlee- he should add some depth to the bat and mound karns-well theyve got owenby and iorg-who else? no stand outs, but just like last year, if they play as team they will win ball games. and if anyone from Karns reads this you need to take district tourny champs off your signs and letter jackets cause you werent the champs. central-looking awful weak this year...bowman thats all i see. they have a lefty pitcher cody swaggerty, but he's not to consistent. OR-they should be some competition this year. black is fast and usually hits the ball good. never under estimate OR! Clinton-looking pretty weak this year...dont know much about them though Camb. Co.-i dont even keep up with them(not trying to sound rude-just dont hear much about em and to far out to go watch) well i know im making my predictions alittle late but i havent had time to get on here....but i do not mean to come across cocky at all by what i have said because no team should be underestimated!!! i do think we(Halls) have the potential to be strong. (potential key word)
  17. our "almighty god"(sarcasm) Jeff Lockwood(sophomore) isnt hitting to good right now...hopefully he'll step it up and have a season like he did last year not bashing the kid out of jealousy because i love that kid, but geez but he's heaven on earth over here for alot of people
  18. "farragut was weak hitting.... weeeakkkk badly they should prob just start bunting everyone " is that sarcasm? cause i wasnt bashing at all...i was just saying they didnt hit well tonight

    Webb vs Powell

someone jus told me in an instant message just now that patricks fastball is flat and has no junk
  20. i think we saw em all tonight...the one we hit best was #10-he was serving it up...but the rest did pretty darn good
  21. HallsOF12

    Webb vs Powell

Coach Lawson's(Powell) wife and Nate Slatton(transfer from Powell to Halls) mentioned that Cole Patrick was gonna be throwin this year. Is that true and if it is, is he throwing pretty good? I played against him 2 summers ago and he didn't show nothing at all then. Cole's a ballplayer though-ill give him that
  22. yeah i know...but we played 8-he only pitched 3 of em...i mean all around they didnt hit well but on the other hand we didnt either...they had one inning with 5 hits and several runs. dont get me wrong thats a good inning, but i meant all around throughout the game. i would imagine their bats to come around and their pitching is well as you and everyone else knows...pretty stacked.
  23. thats his name-catapano...he threw me 4 out of 5 pitches curveball...he had me 3-2 and threw that curveball...i was looking for it but he threw it harder and it broke later...he got me though and it was nasty. and on second thought it may not have been waldrop that hit that one shot...but im almost positive...if that telephone poll wasnt in left field a car would be rollin around right now with a busted window...he murdered it but then again it was a junior throwin about 70 and it was waist high! o well-Coach Polston wasn't to disappointed in the game though
  24. Halls kept it close with No. 8 in the nation Farragut tonight(Monday). Neither teams hit the ball to well. Delmonico commited 2 of the 3 errors for Farr. There weren't any from the Halls side. We had a few fouls balls there dropped for some reason at third base and RF. Not bragging on here, but we kept it close(2-1) for alot of the game. We then brought in some of our RP for some pitching time and Waldrop and #12(i think) jacked some. In the last inning we played we came back and when the final rolled around it was just 7-5. I was impressed with their pitching...Waldrop threw a few and several other guys-the 2 i was most impressed with was of course waldrop and a lefty(Cant remember his name). Both were bringing chedder and their curveballs were on. Wasn't real impressed with their hitting but then again Daniel Larson(junior from Halls) hit 91 twice and stayed in the upper 80's for the first 3 innings. But it was a scrimmage, but it was a decent game overall.
