I agree with FbFever on this one. Central did dominate Powell a few weeks back. Powell had a tough week as a team and all but Central did dominate them. I will have to say Powell is a very good ball club, but as of right now I think Central is a better team simply because the score 2 weeks ago. I hope the my boys come out and give you Rebs all you want this week. I hope to see a battle for 4 qtrs, but at the end I have to stick with the Top Dogs of 4A. Maryville will win this game about half way through the 3rd quarter

3ball, Nada, and Heartbreaker whats up guys! Fballmaster man you need to quit calling players out. Jay Courtney plays really hard and yes he may have taken some hard hits but he will not think twice about hitting anybody again. Jay plays hard and thats all you can ask for, so stop bashing people. 3ball I definately agree with you buddy. Powell has to play an A+ game to even stand a chance. I think if Powell did play there best game it would be very hard to beat Maryville. Mistakes against the rebels will cost you. If they come out playing well and keep the game mistake free they will give maryville all they want. dmoyers I agree with you for Powell to compete in this game they need to find Lee Smith and then find a running game. If not it could be a long night. Hoping for a good game. GO PANTHERS

Hey 3ball and Robpride, Im back!!!! lol Well I've been reading all these posts today since I haven't been on in a few days and there has been quite a bit most posting going on. I will have to say I dont think the line is that much better this year than last yr. I think they just are doing better do to the more rollout stuff they do with Cody and what not. Don't get me wrong they are doing a tremendous job when Cody does throw in the pocket but I think that also has improved from last year more from experience. I do think Coach SMith has been a big plus to that offensive line as well. I will have to agree with you guys about Coach Stephens doing a great job in his NEW ERA. He has found a way to utilize his tallent and also a way to keep people more fresh for the latter part of the ball game. I will have say that a lot of thing have changed though, not just from when Coach Duncan was there, but just from last yr. I mean I'm not saying there isnt discipline because Coach Stephens refuses not to have discipline but just small things like last yr he wouldn't allow Bandannas, Black socks, or the throwing of helmets. Thats just minor things, Not even a big deal. I will have to agree with FballMaster though saying that Coach Duncan did have more discpline on his team, I mean he really didn't allow people to take off their helmets. I will have to say though this years team is a great squad and that coaching staff if doing a very good job coaching. Heck if this years team keeps winning and I was the coach I wouldn't say anything LOL. GO PANTHERS

Imrightyourwrong, The reason we are leaving Farragut out of this is because the other day Gameday24 was trying to say that the 2-5 teams in 4AAA are better than anybody in 3AAA and sorry to tell you that definately is not the case. I mean when Powell beats the # 2 team in 4AAA and so does Halls???? Nobody can say anything about the 2-5 teams being better than 3AAA. But I goodluck to both teams tonight. I hope you both go to Memphis!

Ok well first off I agree with Bazballguy25 besides Farragut District 4AAA is NOT any better than 3AAA. You can say that Powell got beat 20-2 to Farragut but they also threw 2 freshmen pitchers big deal. Not saying that if Powell would have thrown a better guy they would have won but just statin the facts. ALso, Bizazz you can post West record on here against 3AAA teams and that does say something being 10-1, but you are correct neither team has ever thrown their better pitchers because it's not district games. So that really doesn't say much ATLBRAVES25, you can say Halls got beat by Bearden and West but if I'm not mistaken SD lost to Bearden as well??? If you ask me just looks like the top 3 teams in 3AAA and the 2-5 in 4AAA are even. Any of the teams could beat each other on any given day. I mean you can say that the 3AAA teams lost to whoever but you also have to remember Powell has beat West, SD, Maryville, and WB. Also in the last 3 years I do believe Powell is 4-1 vs. Maryville who is considered one of the top teams year in year out in 4AAA

last I heard it was 1-1 in the 4th inning, Halls isnt even throwing Lockwood. Larson started and appears to be doing pretty well. GO HALLS prove everybody that district 4AAA isn't any better besides Farragut. Even though I know that Farragut is the only team better than 3AA top few teams, considering Powell beat Maryville, West, and SD. GO HALLS!!!!!!

Iorg is 2-7 vs. the Powell the two hits he had were dinkers. Im not criticizing anyone cause hes a pretty solid player just statin his stats

Just like you said karns had no pitching left last night and Halls hammered them, well powell had none left either. Bates shut up! Coach Lawson does a great job. I mean heck hes only been to 2 region tournaments, 1 region championship, 2 district runner-ups, and a district championship in 4 years, but yeah find some1 else. You have got to be jokin thats a great job he has done. Last time I recall he did win the regular season district championship this year. Sorry Robby to tell u that u can't alwasy win them all inless you are Farragut and dont a have an out in your line-up. You need to look into things befoer you get on here talking about how he hasnt got the job done. GIVE ME A BREAK

Alright, well 1st off Powell did beat SOuth Doyle there buddy. ANd no SD doesnt hit the ball all that well. Once again Powell threw their# 5 and SD stil didnt hit the ball well but Powell made a few errors or they may have beat SD twice

Gameday nobody said he was God? But the kid is a tremendous talent. We know he isnt no Kyle Waldrop but hey nobody is. But Lockwood and Larson both are better pitchers than anybody else that will walk on that field come Monday night. Lockwood is very good when hes on and all we are saying is that if hes on it will be a long night for SD. I mean come on Lockwood had 15 strikeouts against powell in the tourney semi-finals Monday night. Powell was definately not a push over considering they did beat SD???? But we will just see!!!!! Can't wait to see the results
