Gretchen and her catcher are really working good together this year! The whole team is really playing good together and the defense is excellent! 100 runs scored and only 7 given up. Isn't this getting fun!!!!

Maryville has only (1) senior on the team this year. They start (1) senior, (5) juniors, and (3) sophmores.

Just a reminder that all catchers helmets must have the NOCSAE stamp this year to be legal and the ears and temple area must be fully protected by a one piece shell. I was told by a TSSAA official this week that the catcher's helmet will be checked this year. If the stamp is not visible then the helmet will be tossed out.

Eaglefan is obviously not a fan of either team! He is just trying to stir up trouble for two teams that have a lot of respect for each other. Maybe the cold weather will cause him to fly south (like Mexico) and stay! This should be a good game, but I as a Maryville Graduate will be cheering for the Rebels all the way! Go Rebels!
