  1. Man, Coacht works his butt off to have a respectable site, and immature people like you all make it annoying. Why don't you boys go play in the street or something, and get a life and mature a little? But I have said my two cents worth, I'm not gonna sit here and argue wits with a bunch of morons. I have better things to do, like scrape gum off the bottom of my shoe. [Edited by JHITE7 on 2-25-03 11:17P]
  2. No that is Eric Hite...not sure if he is kin to me or not. But he is a tough catcher and a good bat. I am at Carson Newman.
  3. I think you are a disgrace and some other people who want to use this board for information and fun do too. We enjoy talking on here, and we shouldn't have to worry about a bunch of immature kids. Grow up dude. [Edited by JHITE7 on 2-25-03 9:05P]
  4. Probably because all of you all are being a bunch of morons and talking on here like your in the fifth grade. Grow Up, you all are a disgrace to the game of baseball and Tennessee High school sports.

    TOP FIELDS

Farragut, Morristown West, and Dobbyns-Bennett are 3 of the best I have ever played on. Science Hill also has a great place to play, but I don't consider Cardinal Park because it is technically not theirs. But Farragut is by far the best high school field I have seen. DB has a great atmosphere around it with the stadium. Morristown West is a relatively young field, but has a great stadium, and Coach Haun always keeps the playing surface in tip top shape. Should win best field in region this year, and as soon as they get lights, will host district games year in and year out.
  7. Chris Ayers at Morristown West. Dude knows the game. He will be the head coach of a high school team one day, or he may be the manager for the Milwaukee Brewers. But actually I would have to say the best assistant coach anywhere would be Tom Griffin at CN. However I know this is a high school board, so I would say Chuck Stansberry at Morristown West does a good job with the pitchers. But also Chris Wolfe, who was a former assistant at Morristown West who is a great coach that deserves a shot at a head coaching position. He has been looked over twice in the East high job, would make a GREAT head coach. Knows the game and is great to play for. [Edited by JHITE7 on 2-8-03 9:56P]

    Carson Newman

I think Caleb Jones from Morristown West has...don't know for sure...I was in the weightroom working out the other day and seen him there. Don't take that and run with it yet though.
  9. Probably somewhere close to a Hardee's or some other restaraunt. Last time I seen him he was hibernating with a pleather jacket on.
  10. Last I heard he was working at the Boys Club in Compton, and then he went on to be a successful teacher at Berkely. Or was it a doctor...no that was Dre. He's out in Cali somewhere.
  11. In response to the guy saying the best team didn't win, winning isn't always about who is the best. Winning is about who does the things necessary to win BEST. That starts at the top for Maryville with Quarles. It takes a special champion to be able to win a big game when your supposedly not the "best team" on the field. But hey, they have the gold ball, so I think I'm safe in saying they ARE the best team. Congrats Maryville!
  12. Congrats on three in a row guys.
  13. I wish I would have paid attention and stayed awake in spanish class in high school. I don't know any of those words and I had it for 2 years...How sad! [Edited by JHITE7 on 12-4-02 10:15P]
  14. I think football4doc is a little confused. He is a member of IHATEMARYVILLE.COM. You would think by this board half the time that The Red Rebels shouldn't be the mascot of Maryville, but the Red Nazis. But hey, I would much rather be a HATED Back to Back(to-Back?) state champion than a beloved loser anyday. Good luck to ya Maryville in the burro. And football4doc....Maryville isn't the only one posting. Quit hatin' [Edited by JHITE7 on 12-3-02 8:01P]
  15. I have noticed that about Maryville's D...it's kind of a bend but never break defense. And the debate about classy or not...no matter how much class is taught, you will never find a complete team of classy guys. Look at the pros. you have thugs like terrell owens that give the 49ers a bad name. however, as a whole the 49ers are a classy team. Same with west. But especially this comes into play when you have guys that know this is their last game and to get beat this close to a state championship appearance, emotions come before judgment at times (not saying it's right, but it is hard). I believe that West and Maryville are both classy teams, and 2 of the best teams in 4A, and possibly any class for that matter. But I want to wish Maryville the best of luck. I will be in the 'Boro that weekend and will definitely have to talk the girlfriend into going to the game. But if she doesn't want to go, then I'll go at it alone. ....good luck Maryville...make it 3 in a row and keep the golden ball in east tennessee.
  16. Congratulations...from a Morristown West fan and alum. Good luck in the 'boro and make east tennessee proud. Best of luck! But....I was not there so I can not respond about the lack of class, but I can tell you this...Coach Woods would not put up with that very long. Coach Woods teaches class, and is very classy himself. Like I said I wasnt there, so I won't deny nor agree. But best of luck Maryville. I'm rooting for ya'll all the way. Make it 3 in a row and keep the gold ball in east Tennessee. To all the trojans...great job guys, bust your butt this off year and make another run next year! [Edited by JHITE7 on 11-29-02 9:35P]
  17. I think you are right...fbwiz has been reincarnated into JPATS5...Because these posts look stikingly familiar. That or it is strikingly scary that 2 different people think the same crazy thoughts.
  18. I graduated from west last year. I play baseball for Carson-Newman College. I had surgery on my leg in September and should be back to full strength by next week or so. But I don't play football for west, and didnt when I went there. [Edited by JHITE7 on 11-27-02 8:12P]
  19. The leg is doing better, and I'm in the middle of rehab and should be back at full practice after this Thanksgiving break.
  20. who said I was talking trash to you bro? and you seem to be real tough hiding behind a name.
  21. Understood...I just thought you meant that it was a fluke...and we know that getting beat by 42 points isnt a fluke. Good luck to both teams though...I hope it will be a close game, but i seriously doubt it.
  22. getting beat on a hail mary to end the game is a fluke...not getting beat by 42...that would be an old fashioned butt whooping.
  23. You have not one clue what you are talking about. Coach Woods did not have a player suspended. And about him not teaching...that man teaches far more than football and any class or book can teach. Ask any of his former players. This decision was made because Burke-Toney was not able to be played on. Would you like your child to play for a coach that says..."go ahead and play on it and tear a knee up, we wouldn't want to make the other team think we are trying to gain an advantage?" No...Coach Woods did not do that. It would have been to his advantage to have played the game in Morristown, because of his running attack, and the fact that a wet and torn up field slows up a passing game...like the one Greeneville had. Just don't get on here and make comments about something you know nothing about. Coach Woods is not only a GREAT coach, but he is an even better man.
  24. A greeneville fan complaining about officiating, never hear that one do ya?? But it all makes since to me now why Greeneville was upset with the game being moved to sevier county...they couldnt have their usual home cooking refs. You all know this very well, as do all other teams in East Tennessee. When you play Greeneville at home, you have to beat them AND the officials. And the fact that Greeneville's parents saying roll him off the field is about as classless thing I have evr heard in my life. No wonder class is hard to come by in Greeneville....it starts at the top I guess. Now don't get me wrong, there are some classy players on Greeneville's athletic teams, but this right here shows that they have MANY that are not.
  25. Yes...it seems with you being around elementary school kids a good bit in your day has begun to wear off on you. And don't try to match wits with me please, because I have better things to do than embarass you. The problem I have with how you perceived this situation is that Morristown West wanted to gain an advantage by moving this game. When we both know that it would have been to west's advantage to play at burke-toney, because of their running game. The comment about the crown in the middle of the field at sevier county is completely and utterly asinine. It didn't stop Joey Matthews' passing attack, nor did it stop Shane Kelley a few years back. You and some others only want to get on here to whine and complain, IF you were so offeneded, then why not call the TSSAA and protest this ruling...but no you couldnt do that, you have to get on a message board and try to argue and match wits with a college student. But I have better things to do, like wipe the bug off the sole of my shoe I just squashed. Have a great day. [Edited by JHITE7 on 11-24-02 6:00P]
