I like your confidence. Im just saying it may be a little premature to compare yourself with the big boys. There is a difference between being experienced and being good. I looks like you guys have a good measuring stick coming up. Good luck, I for one am cheering for you. Go represent.

Benny and Larry, Im sure you fellows have a decent squad, but beat somebody before you start comparing yourself to the best in the state. Sure you are 9-2 but those teams have a combined record of 25-39 and 9 of those wins belong to Upperman. You also lost to a 5-5 team and a 2-6 team.

First off, congratulations to Drew. Great kid who has idiots coming on here on his behalf. I'm also pretty sure that he will go to college instead of rookie ball (straight to class A is a joke). I just hope he gets out of McKenzie and goes to a real college.

 

Second, it is Coach Thompson, a head assistant coach at a college - also coaching the T's this summer in the Kitty League (which really is a good, legit league by the way). His "ruining it for everyone" means he likes to come on here under the assumption of anonymity and talk up Drew and down to other CoachT posters. What a professional.

I dont think it is Coach Thompson that is why I was asking who it was.

Rookie league is almost over is why they wouldn't send him there. They want to see what he can give them now, I honestly don't think he'll go anyway. But he's playing for me in a wooden bat league this summer, and he's breaking bats all over the place. Either way, he's going to college on about a 75% sureness level.

Baylorboy, you must play in the major leagues then if White House is the worst field you have ever played on. By saying no grass, do you mean an all dirt infield?? If so, you must have played somewhere else. They have some of the best grass in the state.

White House has a really nice set up. And the grass is ok, but I dont think its the bet in the state or even in the county.

The key word here is reached. Yes you may have reached on an error and you may not deserve to be there but you are on base and therefore it only helps you OBP.

Portland beat Hume Fogg 2-1 earning their first district win. We have DL and MLK later in the week.
