  1. The AC Roster has several kids that don't live in the district. I know at least one is from Campbell County and several are from Knox County. They also just got a junior catcher from Catholic, but I don't guess he will be eligible this year. The AC coach was caught on video coaching some of his AC players in a Florida tournament during the dead period last summer. This was reported to the TSSAA. Did anything ever happen with this?
  2. I would think so too. Now, I'm not saying the players aren't legitimate nor am I saying that the coach is breaking any rules bringing them in but it could cause some trouble for the coach IF the players aren't legit... and TSSAA finds out. Coaching high school ball isn't like coaching open league. When rules are broken, the consequences affect the whole team and the schools reputation. That usually doesn't make for good job security!
  3. I'm curious too... how is AC getting all these players to MOVE to AC just to play baseball? How can they legally play unless they live in the AC jurisdiction? Or am I missing something here? Also, how do the other AC players feel about these players entering the scene?
  4. What kids from Knox County and Campbell County are playing for AC? Did they move to AC???? If many more transfer in..... AC will be bumped to AAA
  5. Does AC have any graduates playing college ball these days?
  6. Was the CC catcher trying to make a tag or did the CC runner run over the Central catcher? Just curious, thanks for the info.
  7. What about District 3AAA. Halls will probably dominate but what about the other schools? Any chance for Clinton, Campbell County or Oak Ridge this year.
  8. No, No, No. That would be asking for trouble the coaches, other parents that try to cooperate and the boosters do not need.
  9. No-one will know until after the 24th.
  10. Regardless of the outcome, District 3 is proud of the Beavers!
  11. Karns is going to take it.
  12. The Campbell County/Halls game was a good one. The Cougars have been just a step away from winning in the last several games they have played. They played hard against Karns Monday night, losing 3-1. I hope they can keep up the hard work, I'd like to see them be a respected team.
  13. It was mentioned in another post about JUCO tryouts. How do you know about these? Do the schools contact the players they want to tryout or do the players need to call the schools and ask?
