  1. fever pitch is a great book and movie.
  2. i think you are the arrogant one unanymous89, do you realize what you are saying? You did not know there were national rankings for high school? Keep posting on here because I dont think anyone will think you can get any more ignorant about soccer. Whoever the freshmen who said he was as good as Daniel Kelly, is lying. There is no freshmen in Tennessee as good as Daniel Kelly, that is fact. The tournament in Atlanta invites only very good teams between Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and somtimes Oklahoma, there are no 2-7 teams there. I am done here. You lost to ryan and rossview, both of whom were embarrassed by Hendersonville. This thread is a waste of time.
  3. did kaka score or did shevchenko
  4. no draws would be americanizing the game, which i am fully against. Sepp Blatter is just running his mouth as usual, he will never scrap draws.
  5. I agree that they should play, but not this year, I think Plummer is looking not to embarrass PJP this year. Without Xander they would definitely still be a top team in middle tennessee with some of the best freshmen and sophomores in middle tennessee, Hendersonville plays a much harder schedule than PJP too so records are not always indicative of how good a team really is. I dont know what games you have seen them play, but from what I have seen they play pretty well as a team, they are fast and athletic and like to play direct at times, but that is by choice, they are definitely not a "kickball" team.
  6. Apparently you are the guy no one agrees with, everyone else in Tennessee seems to think Hendersonville is a top team this year. If Hendersonville has no young talent, freshmen and sophomores, then the rest of Tennessee must be awful because they have several ODP players and D1 club players, not to mention a coach who has won state once, and a team who has been to regions every year since 1901. I have seen these freshmen you speak ofat PJP and no, they would not be important players at Hendersonville, its as simple as that. I am not trying to offend you and act like a baby like you seem to, but PJP is no where near the level of HHS and wont be for a few years until they start getting players from HHS.
  7. bga with ease, top 3 teams in middle tenn are 1. bga 2. hendersonville 2. brentwood tie
  8. yes, last year's farragut team did, I am talking about this year. Farragut was A LOT better than any Tennessee team last year, but not this year.
  9. Like I said McCallie and Hendersonville played very well and had chances to beat Parkview, who would beat CBHS, because I have seen both teams play. Bearden and MCMinn go to Georgia and play teams in Georgia that are not good, just look at aaaaa rankings in Georgia and play any of those in the top 10 and you can say you played a good team. These are facts, and Georgia soccer is MUCH better than Tennessee soccer. If you knew anything you would know this without even questioning it. All you have to do is look at club soccer and realize that most of the best players in Region 3 come out of Atlanta and Atlanta is probably the biggest soccer city with the best teams in all of Region 3 with the exception of Dallas. Tennessee almost always get spanked at regionals with the exception of a select few teams who do ok.
  10. McCallie and Hendersonville both played very well and lost to Parkview, a team out of Atlanta who would easily beat ANY team in Tennessee. McMinn's schedule does not compare in the slightest to either Hendersonville or McCallie. Georgia soccer is much better than Tennessee and Parkview is undefeated and #1 in top division in Georgia. McMinn beat two teams: Bearden and Knox. Catholic, that is all, and a Henry Co. team from Georgia 2-1 who is not even close to being ranked in Georgia.
  11. PJP has not hurt HHS or GHS this year, it seems as if Hendersonville are one of the best teams in the state, and Gallatin looks quite good also. I dont go to Hendersonville or Gallatin, so I am not sure of either teams entire roster, but dont Hendersonville have Daniel Kelly, TJ brown, sutton (?) a few of the best freshmen in the state, along with (?) Bolt, and Cameron Eades a few other top sophomores in the state. PJP lost to Rossview... nuff said. Who does PJP have that is good besides Keller(?), who is another top sophomore in the state. How do you know that scheduling hasnt worked out or something, why would you assume these sumner county teams are afraid? Maybe PJP coach is afraid to schedule these other Sumner County teams out of fear. I would say they are not playing you out of pity, at least in Gallatin and Hendersonville's case. Compare Gallatin and Hendersonville's schedules with PJP's. Hendersonville and Gallatin would beat PJP by no less 4 or 5.
  12. not sure about tecos, but galaxy did not start albright, jones, hartmann, several other starters. Just an exhibition game as expected. The pitch was fantastic though.
  13. Exactly, Tennessee teams do face Atlanta teams at regionals and get trashed almost always. It is not because Tennessee is awful, it is because South Texas, N. Texas, Georgia, N.Carolina, and even in some cases Oklahoma are far better than Tennessee. I am not trashing our state just being realistic.
  14. obviously no. When you look at how clubs do compared to the rest of the country only one team every other age group in tennessee can actually compete regionally while most other states in the south with the exception of maybe alabama and mississippi have several teams in each age group that compete regionally and nationally.
  15. thats impressive, 6-0 over Gallatin
  16. yeah I saw Hendersonville play once this year and with the 3 good strikers they have I dont see them losing to Clarksville, their attack is too good. They probably have the best strikers in middle tennessee and Clarksville looks to be a bit overrated; only beating Rossview by 1.
  17. Neither team has been tested by a good team yet, but if I were a betting man I would say Brentwood with ease. They should win by 2 or 3. Clarksville looks quite overrated.
  18. if neither had pads henry would win handily.
  19. Daniel Kelly is a freshman for Hendersonville and he is incredible. I watched Houston and Hendersonville Friday night and Daniel Kelly was probably the best player on the field. He plays striker along with two other very good strikers Zander (?)sp and a sophomore Michael Bolt I think. I heard he plays for the TNFC 88.
  20. .....

    AAA top 10

    probably mcminn, bearden, and franklin.
  21. Basically Lowder and several of the players on TNFC 88 should be the only ones considered. TNFC 88 has taken basically all of the good players in middle tenn. in that age with the exception of Lowder who plays an age up.
  22. .....

    top 10

Im saying that a lot of teams schedule hard teams for non district games which shows if they are good or not. It is hard to say with Columbia if they do not play any good teams until the tournament. I do not really consider Riverdale and Blackman "good" teams from last year, sure they are decent but I am talking about playing teams that are proven year in year out. Its ok, because its not your fault if it was up to you im sure you would have a harder schedule.
