ezell..i see what you are saying... but i still think that you get more comfortable in the box and in what you can do agaisnt a good pitcher after you have faced her multiple times... i saw the greenbrier girls do it last year... yes, they still had a large number of strikeouts against her... but they also got more hits, and were more patient at the plate against her rise ball....

The first game...Greenbrier didn't play very well I don't think... The score was like 5-4 Hume Fogg..... The second time though, Greenbrier won 5-0....

I think that Macon beat Station Camp 5-1.... I think that the top 4 teams that will be left are Lipscomb, Greenbrier, Macon Co., and Hume Fogg... I think that Lipscomb and Greenbrier will be the 2 teams to move on the regions... If those 2 teams are in the championship game, then it will be a great game(s) to watch!

I think that Hume-Fogg beat Springfield 10-0....and Lipscomb beat MLK 9-0... don't know about Station Camp and Macon Co.

well, going to Greenbrier...Im going for the girls in Green... but i think the tournament starts tommorrow and goes through next thrusday or friday probobly... i am not sure if it is first round single elimination, or if the whole tournament is double...

I guess that it was wishful thinking last year too, if i remember correctly, when lipscomb and greenbrier played, the third time, that greenbrier won. I'm not saying that they will, [even though girls i believe you can], but who's to say that the 3rd time isn't a charm? Every time you see a pitcher like rhodes, steen, and danielle, it helps your chances to get down their timing and the way they pitch. I'm not taking anything away from Megan, because every time I've seen her pitch, she has been very impressive... but Ezell have you seen Greenbrier play this year? just curious.. it seems like from your posts, you and megan are good friends, and i didn't know if you were a little biased... [not saying you shouldnt' be.. but it's just a thought]

well, since I don't play softball, I guess that that doesn't apply to me... but yea from what I hear Greenbrier had some uncharacteristic errors both games... they had runners in position to score i think almost every inning, but just couldn't... I think they will be ok in the tournament. As for shut-outs, Megan may very well have some, but she cant win ballgames by herself

i guess we'll just all have to see.... dont look for it to happen!

Right now I think the Lipscomb vs. Greenbrier is still on for tommorrow at 5:00...they will make up the station camp game on wed.
