I don't care about names give me numbers. I have said before, good pitcher yes. Get me some averages of these other players. Speed is nothing if you can't get on base. Proven winner. Yeah in Middle School and Summer Ball. You need to wake up this is 7AAA baseball, not NIT tournaments.

Baseball99 tell me where the talent is? Just because they play a lot of young players does not mean they are talented. They only have 2 seniors so somebody has to play. Where is the power, where is the averages. Not one player on that teams stands out as having great talent. Hardball potential- you don't get wins on potential. I agree this has to be the most disappointing loses of the season. They are going the wrong direction heading into the tournament. And for the comment new coach-Baseball is baseball. It is hard to win on potential.

Lack of confidence? Hardball how does a team get confidence? Shouldn't a team have confidence after a big district win. They did beat Cookeville(11-3) once. I am thinking it is lack of talent and motivation. I've seen them play a couple of times. They are not very talented at all. Two decent pitchers. No power and no one hits for a high average. That sounds a lack of good talent to me.

You are right you can' t overlook Cookeville but they have yet to play the best team in the district I have seen so far which is Oakland. Oakland swings the bat well. Oakland does not swing at breaking pitches and Alcorn is a breaking ball pitcher so this series will be interesting. Oakland has too much fire power.

Who are the sleepers in the district tournament? I am thinking if Blackman scores a few runs and they will be tough to beat. If Warren Co. catches the ball they may sneak in there they do have a few decent pitchers. My guess is Oakland will win the tourneyand Riverdale second. [but]Blackman and Warren Co. will have a chance to beat Riverdale. Oakland vs. Blackman or Oakland vs. Warren Co. for the district championship it could be possible.

So what is Lebanon's and Blackman record in the district? I am getting two different records for both teams.
