I look forward to the Tate and McFadden matchup. It also makes me a little wary because your team was so explosive last year and I hope we have grown enough as a team to handle what we couldn't last year. Golden is only a sophomore and has other talent in that class that start and perform well. The Junior class is very talented as well. We have several freshman that add depth too. We are becoming a well rounded team in only our second varsity year.
I must say we have a great senior class (the 1st one). They are gritty and determined. All of our seniors left other programs where they could be playing, like Father Ryan, and winning like Gallatin, Hendersonville, White House, and Greenbriar to name a few. They came to JPII as sophomores and have grown to be great leaders for the school. If we can fight with their heart and strength of determination then we will go far this season to gel as a veteran team- and if we win a few along the way and go into the playoffs then so be it. I hope we can win for them.
