I think that if Grace is going to win this one they are going to have to pull something out of their butt for that W. CCS has a lot of good hitters this year and they are playing smart baseball this year.

Just wondering how anybody thinks this district is going to go this year. Who are the teams to beat?

I don't think that they have a real good chance. They way they looked on Saturday they are going to have a tough year ahead of them.

When you look at it CCS pitched 3 freshman. Then they pitched some more underclassmen. And they tied Warren County on Saturday. I think that if they play well then they have a really good chance at being a competitive team in AA this year. We will just have to wait and see.

And who is this Brandon Swinney kid from overton. I haven't seen him wrestle any this year. Anybody know anything about him?

Sliger has my vote. He is a really good wrestler and he's only a sophmore. He came in second in region last year as a freshman, he lost by one point. The Science Hill kid looks like a mack truck. He's huge and he's strong as can be. I would like to see those two wrestle.

I'm not saying that he's not a good heavyweight. I said that he doesn't strike me as an amazing heavyweight. Just that at the soddy tournament he didn't seem to be very aggressive I noticed he was good for being in the smaller part of the heavyweights because he was the first person to score on Vandergriff all year. Oh and by the way matcat i have 4 losses this year and every person that beat me is ranked and this is my second year.

I don't think that Quick is that great of a heavyweight. If a heavyweight shoots he is going to have the other person surprised because nobody wants to be on bottom of that much weight. Quick beat me in the Soddy tournament with a trip which should of never happened but it did. He doesn't strike me as an amazing heavy. Sliger is a good heavyweight because he keeps constant pressure on you and he gets you frustrated easily. He beat me at the beginning of the year by two points and he didn't let up the whole time we were out there .

CCS won 6-5, Elias Yandell hit a two run homer, Bradden Scott came up with bases loaded and cleared the bases with a double to right field. Nathan Long came in pitching and finished it up
