At least the boys have shown some improvement this year with the addition of the new assistant if they will let him have more input. The kids will play for him. The boys do have large numbers out. The girls had to beg some of the upperclassmen to play.

I would agree if you could get all of your returning players to come back out, but there not! There is at least 6 who would play if the circumstances where different. They sure come out for all of the other sports. They are fine ladies just do not have the ability to attract kid and coach them up.

If the administrators at Boyd Buchanan don't find a Coach for the Girls Basketball program soon. There won't be a Girls Basketball program nest year. The present coaches of Brown and Sewell maybe good teachers and may have played some Basketball outside of High School, but that doesn't translate into the ability to Coach.

After watching Boyd on film this week and read the scouting report from there first game. I predict the Purple machine in the valley to win by 3 TD's. Boyd's secondary is weak and there upfront guys get tired in the fourth qtr. which should allow us to be able to run as Megis did in the 4th qtr. last week. With a win this week we will have an automatic host for a 1st round playoff game at home and we will play for the region championship in two weeks. I think the days of Boyd and the other privates of Chattanooga having there way with teams with the valley are over. We will show everyone last year was no fluke, we will win again friday and then set our sights on Tyner for the Region Championship.

What will happen this year??

I was at the Tyner vs. Boyd game, I don't think boyd has as many weapons as SC. The hathaway kid is good but has no speed and he tip toes a lot. Headden is tall but has not made alot of big catches this year, the QB play is very suspect neither is very good. on the Def. side of the ball the Ends are small but the Linebackers are good, and the secondary is not very good at all and the safety has a broke arm and they have give up a lot of deep balls this yearon the corners. This maybe the year of the OWLs.

The best game in 1A will be boyd vs watertown. Watertown by 10

The little Bucs better not over look Watertown. They are better than they where earlier in the year. Could be a long night for the Bucs.
