Hello all. I am a transplanted Rockwood Tiger fan, but I try to get to a few games and keep up with them the best I can. Do they have any summer scrimmages scheduled? If so, where and when? Does anyone have any input on how the team is looking for the fall and what is the status on quarterback this year? Thank you for any information. GO TIGERS !!!!!!!!! John

Thank you and I agree. I felt a little negativity from a post, thus why I made a point that plenty of us make mistakes, we are all human and I felt the punishment fit the crime was a little harsh. And if you are a friend of his, continue to support him. I made a few mistakes in my younger days and it helped me so much knowing my "true" friends were there for me. I also want to see him back in those colors and I hope those are the ones he wears next year.

Well said and so true. God does forgive and we should, that kind of support helps one forgive themself. And from my experience living in the area, he will have all the support he needs from the community., school and beyond.

Just wanted to put out a good luck to Maryville. I originally lived in Blount County, moved to Roane and am currently subsiding in Monroe. Thus I have quiet a few teams to follow. Best of luck again. John

You are correct. But as I have mentioned numerous times, we all make them. I and I think a few others were showing our support for him, not talking about him in any negative way, (and I would think that would be a good feeling for him to know that there are people that understand we all mess up and that we do miss watching him play) but stating how much we enjoyed watching him and giving attribute to his talents. I do look forward to seeing him again. And one more thing, however he is not part of the Rockwood baseball now, he was and was a very key player, not just in baseball. He is also still part of the community he has played for over the years. He will be missed until his return.

I am not sure. But again we must remember most of us have made mistakes in our lifetime. The previous quoter, mentioned the punishment fit the crime. I would like to think you were using that in a metophorical way as I believe if the young man had committed a crime, he would have gotten more than in school suspension. I believe he made a mistake (and speaking from experience and wisdom) most of us make those. I would love to see his talent back at RHS, if not I wish him the best of luck.

Again, we all make mistakes. And I do not know the situation but that seems a little harsh if it was a first time offense and I suppose it has to do with whatever he did. It is a blow to the team. I have followed that class since they won the Middle School Football Championship in the 8th grade. A fine group of boys.

I hate to hear that. We all as human beings make mistakes, the main thing is to live and learn from them. As I do not know what he did, but I myself, as a young lad got into a few scraps. I did enjoy watching his athletic talent and wish the best for him and the whole team.

Way to go Rockwood, congratulations on your win. Unfornutaly the lil' lady was disappointed that Sequoyah's game was cancelled. I was curious to the condition and update of this young man. Both our prayers have been with him. John

Thank you for the info. I hate to hear about anyone substaining an injury be it at practice or during a game. Although you stated you did not know how bad it is, sounds like pretty bad considering he is out the rest of the season and you are not sure he will be able to return next season. John
