I lost alot of respect for the Humboldt Coaching staff at last night's game between North Side and Humboldt. Humboldt was up by 19 points with only seconds remaining in the 1st half and they called a time out in order to set up a play so they could run up the score even more. They scored to make it 33 - 6 at halftime. They could obviously see that North Side was no threat to them. North Side is only playing 3 seniors and 4 juniors total, the rest are sophomores with NO playing experience. They continued to play all of their starters through almost all of the game. All I can say is "Pay Day Some Day" and I can't wait until this group of "Super Sophomores" are "Seniors". I was proud of the way our boys held their heads high and walked to the bus for the LONG ride home. As a North Side alumni I will always be an Indian and proud of it. Keep your heads held high and continue to work hard. It will pay off. GO BIG BLUE! INDIANS ARE THE BEST![/COLOR]

For those of you who saw the Sports Plus Jamboree in Jackson last night don't count the North Side Indians out. They lost 22 Seniors last year and only had 3 returning players that saw any playing time last year. Last night only 4 Seniors out of a total of 7 on the team played. They had a tremendous amount of Sophomores playing including the QB, which is a sophomore. This sophomore group is very talented and the QB has a great football mind. So if they struggle this year, just watch out for them next year.
