There has only been one team in 2A that really kept Alcoa in check and played with them..........Huntingdon! Alcoa is good....... VERY GOOD! But I dont think Alcoa has forgotten the scare they had last year at the Boro. Who wins is hard to say but I hope it plays out that the two meet again this year in the Title game. One thing for certain is....... Alcoa will not run rough shot over Huntingdon!! It's not guaranteed that either team will be in the Title game. One game at a time. GO STANGS!!

Bulldawgs#1... I all seriousness, I do hope it is a well played game by both teams on both sides of the ball. I dont think that Milan will be able to run on Huntingdon. Only 1 runningback has rushed for over 100yds on Huntingdon this year (Markei Guy of Westview) others have not fared well. Passing on Huntingdon will be tough also. Havent heard much about Milans running game or passing at all. I know that Lydale Wells is 29/60 for 554 yards with 7 TDs and no interceptions and Jeremy Conley is your leading reciever with 5 catches for 202 yards and 2 TDs. Running backs for Milan are not even in the top 25 runningbacks in West Tennessee so I dont know much about them. Special teams will be key this Friday. Still think Huntingdon wins 35-14. Seems like feathers have been ruffled! Why I dont know but what else can you expect from a FEW Milan fans who didnt understand what I was saying. First off ...... MILAN IS THE MOST SUCCESSFUL PROGRAM IN WEST TENNESSEE! Never said it wasn't.... read previous post and tell me where I said they were not. Secondly, I was giving the readers of the posts and SOME of you so called Milan faithful a honest opinion of how "THE OUTSIDE WORLD" or the fans of West Tennessee football are viewing your program right now. I'm not the only one that feels this way. Thousands of West Tennessee fans are saying the same thing. If I told you how I have been associated with Milan Football over the years you would be shocked to learn that I have been VERY VERY much involved. Not just your fair weather fan here. I can go deep into many little bag of info. ( i'm NOT talking about cheering in the stands either) Know who youre talking to before preaching and throwing rocks in a glass house. Milan folks are saying the same things I am saying everyday. Those that know "How it used to be" anyway. I'm just as proud of Milan as I am of Huntingdon, but i'm disappointed in the way that respect is being lost for the most dominating program in West Tennessee, the Milan Bulldogs. Take it for what it's worth. You like it or you dont. But it's the truth. But one thing is for certain............. You have Manassas' respect! Now what other teams respect you like they used to? Truth Hurts dont it? Just looking for a great game and all the players are safe and uninjured when the clock hits 0:00. Still feel you living on HISTORY and NOT the PRESENT ( Many of you overlook the PRESENT and try to cover it up with your HISTORY) Let me explain......... Coach Tucker was the greatest coach in Tennessee history in my opinion. Played in many games when he was coaching on the opposite sidelines. When my high school team played Milan I was in awe of Coach Tucker and not the team. When Milan's team came onto the field I didn't look for the star players. I was looking for Coach Tucker. He had my respect as a 16-17 year old kid. So I look at it like no one will ever take his place, no team will ever accomplish what his teams accomplished, and Milan isnt and will never be the "Milan of Old" a hundred years from now. When I think of Milan the first thing I think of is Coach John Tucker. That's respect!! Tradition is dying and every year it gets worse......Have you not noticed? I knew there was a man, a coach, a father figure, and a whole town that when those light's came on in that stadium you had to respect them. you could expect nothing less. That's changed! He never had a pansy schedule and he never backed out of any game or bargained with any team to put a W in the win column. If he had to play you in the middle of Hwy. 45 you better strap em on tight! What you guys are doing over there now is ridiculous. Every year it's whining about who you got to play where, "oh it's raining so we cant finish the game", "who's poping firecrackers outside the stadium", "we dont have home field", how bout if we pay you $1500 and beat the crap out of you?" Here are a few outside of your WEAK, PATHETIC, Non Region SCHEDULE. 1.That open date on your schedule that you were scared to finish when Crockett County was gonna hand you a loss. (TSSAA thought so too didn't they?) Hey.... I know a couple of middle schools that have open dates. I'm sure you guys would love to get that 10th game in. They would love the BIG PAYOFF of $1,500- $2,000. I'll get some kids off the street and play Milan for $1,500 you'll still get the win so what's the difference. 2. Not wanting to play at the ROCK last year cause you knew your butts would have been handed to you on a platter. 3. Playing Manassas to get that extra win every year to make you look like the "Milan of Old" 4. Most importantly, always talking about how many state championships youve won "Back In The Day" ......
