    I think the team will still be pretty strong next year, yeah you are losing players but that just means the others will have to step up. I dont know how you figure coaching has stalemated??? Coach T is the best, you couldnt ask for better line coaches than Coach Low or Coach Thompson. With Coach Blade, Coach Smith, and coach Mac on defense they will still be strong. And the younger group hasnt been worked? They practiced just like everybody else. The sophomore scout team ran against our 1st and 2nd defense and offense everyday. O and since you didnt get to answer MY quarterback WHO ARE YOU???? You were talked about in the locker room a couple of weeks ago but it kind of faded away UNTIL you bashed him. We all know you have a son on the team, he was a sophomore and evidently he didnt play as much as you thought he should have. Well guess what HE WAS A ROOKIE and he still has 2 more years. There were other rookies that didnt play but you are the only parent who will come on here, while hiding behind a name, and talk about OUR coach and QB.

    right off the bat let me congradulate smyrna. there is no question the more talented team won. i have a few things to say though. had these things been different it may not have mattered.

     

    refs-tssaa should watch that game on film, they were so incompatent at times they couldnt get a ball on the field to use. the first half was a complete disgrace. a play could not be run without a penalty being called. ths is the playoffs. i coach youth league and those officals wouldnt throw that many flags. if you want to take a team out of their game, penalize them every other play. any one of you guys on the "T" would have been as frustrated as the players wich led to the unsportsman like calls. bottom line they lost control of their flags and the game n the first half.

     

    i dont know who is responsible for the pa system. you blew it. i sat on the home side and could not hear one thing they said. why werent you guys trying to fix at any time during the game? you completely droped the ball. the crowd was not a factor. could have been different, as far as the crowd goes, had they been able to hear who made a tackle or hear him say 1st down falcons!!! the guys on the field like to hear their names called in case u forgot.

     

    all the players, thank you for representing your school and your community. you did it well. as for the attitude on the field last night, i understand if no one else wants to.

     

    thanks to all the loyal fans that came out to all the games.

     

    to matt moran, you have been my 7 year olds hero this year. he shared your #23, and i want to thank you for being a great example for him on the football field.

     

    good luck to smyrna the rest of the way. the gold ball is at your house, dont let someone come in and take it. i look forward to driving to mtsu to see you keeping it. you guys have a great team.

     

    falcons take a break, hit the weights, and lets make some noise next year. me and my little falcons will be waiting on you!!!

    good luck to both tonight!! hope LC can pull out the win. the defence is is what will keep us in the game. hope the d can give us a short field a couple of times to give us a cushion. i really do hope the pit is up to expectation tonight. the team deserves it and so do the lebanon fans making the trip.

     

    extra good luck to all the region 3 teams tonight. (maybe that will be enough to sweep region 4!!!!) remember who said it!!! /wub.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":wub:" border="0" alt="wub.gif" />

    I think it will be Wilson Central by alot. No I KNOW IT WILL BE. Forget anyone and everyone who doubts them. I hope we can get another chance at Central I would love to take on 2 and 7 again those ###### are cold. But you know they got some other good one like JaJuan and Alex and 5 what is his name. We got them at home next year.

  20. 5A Running Backs

    Dustin Langford from Cookeville has 1353 with only 150 carries. He had 147 yards against Lincoln County this past week in the game for the region championship. Had a 99 yarder against Cumberland County after he got nailed in the endzone and broke free which is a school record run.

     

     

    i saw him friday night. really quick. :thumb:

    can anyone tell me where to find information on 5a backs from the rest of the state?

     

    Jeremy Ramsey of Lincoln County leads the midstate with 1408 yards on 220 carries according to the Tennessean, with one regular season game left.

     

    How does that compare with the rest of the 5a backs in the state? :D

  24. Cookeville Vs. Lincoln Co.

    region title returns home tonight!!! i hope the falcons run it up tonight, nothing against cookeville, but if they hold on to the ball it should turn out that way. we gettin better every week, but now is the time to lock it down like they want to win. heard good things from ramsey this week in practice. seems like they really want it this year (little different than the impression i got last year)
