Everything posted by bdpweb

  1. The website is updated, but sorry so late. The gallery for pictures is huge from the Pearl game so give it time to load. Everything is up including the DeKalb preview, and there was no freshman game this past week. Daughter's birthday this weekend, so sorry for the delay. I usually try to have it up before Monday. bdpweb
  2. White House site is now updated with a Pearl-Cohn preview, Sycamore game recap and stats, and photos from all games along with Homecoming photos and freshman recaps and photos. Sorry for the delay this weekend.
  3. The Beech preview is up on the site. Sorry for the delay.
  4. I'm late updating the web. It's been a busy Saturday and Sunday in the Bluegrass State, so I'm getting to it when I can. Hopefully by tonight we will have pics and stories loaded. I also have a freshman recap for the last two games and some middle school pics. Thanks, bdpweb
  5. Preview, and also pics are up from Portland on the GameCenter page... http://www.whitehousehigh.com/football/gm4preview.html
  6. Recap, stats and story are up for the Portland game along with a preview of Macon County on the White House site. I will have pics later this weekend.
  7. Preview is up, and so is all the information and stats from the first two weeks. http://www.whitehousehigh.com/football/gm3preview.html
  8. Updates are on the site including pictures from the middle school and freshmen games this week, and also tonight there will be live game audio on the GameCenter page with scoring updates after each quarter. Have a great evening, bdpweb
  9. Previews are up, pics from Page are up and I should have a freshman game story from last week tonight... At the White House website.
  10. Just for reference... http://www.whitehousehigh.com/football/laddonu.html
  11. White House site is updated with pics from the Page game, a story, stats and preview of the Franklin-Simpson game ahead.
  12. The website is updated. Story and stats are up, I'm waiting on photos from the photographer later this weekend. I will also have a Franklin-Simpson preview come Sunday. Don't forget, each week during the game we are going to keep a live scoring system up and have live game audio on the GAMECENTER page of the site. To Page fans: We don't normally keep opponents tackle stats because it's too tough to get those accurate live. So if they're missing, that's why. http://www.whitehousehigh.com/football
  13. We're also going to try and keep a running score tally tonight after each quarter on the gamecenter page at: http://www.whitehousehigh.com/football/gm1center.html
  14. The website is updated, including photos and score of last night's freshman game. When you go to the site, I have a page called GAMECENTER and this will be the case each week. By clicking on that link, it should take you to a scoreboard page and there you will find the link for live game audio. I have not talked to the Blue Devil Network folks, but the live game audio link is the same as I had last year. I hope it works, but that's all i know to do because I don't host the audio through our site...it's a jump link.
  15. Season previews and features were published today in the local paper, so they are now officially loaded to the White House website, along with jamboree results and team photos. We also have a running archive available of old stories. We will have Jamboree photos later this weekend along with a Page preview.
  16. Just an update... Team photos are now loaded on the site. Click the photo link on the main page. There is also a middle school season preview. Starting Friday, we will have varsity previews, features and coaching profiles added with a Page preview coming by Monday. http://www.whitehousehigh.com/football
  17. Tim, I believe, like the rest, it's at 5 p.m. That's what I had on my original schedule but they also changed the Lipscomb one to 6 p.m., too. I think one of those times is going to be correct, but 5 p.m. seems right.
  18. Just FYI... We don't have anything on Hendersonville yet, but we have updated the White House web site with photos from Smith County and Lipscomb, links to the Examiner's coverage, and stories about Ricky Ladd and Aaron Hargrove signing. The roster, freshman roster and schedule are also up. I'm still working on other parts of the site. The staff page is up, but the profiles will not be loaded until the game program comes out. http://www.whitehousehigh.com/football
  19. I'm uploading changes today. Be patient and everything will get there soon. Lipscomb pics are up. Roster is updated under "roster" and freshman roster is updated under "freshmen" Schedule is loaded. Team pics, season previews and coaching profiles coming soon. We will give the newspapers time to run some stories first to be fair. I didn't get to attend the scrimmage today with Smith County, but I will check to see if Drew or someone at the Browser has pics. Kris
  20. Good afternoon, first time I have been on here in a long while. I have a lot of updates ready for the White House Football website, but I have been locked out of it for a while because of a password problem. We're trying to get it resolved and soon as we do, we'll have the football page rolling for 2006 with plenty of new stuff, including some scrimmage pics. Thanks, Kris WH Football
  21. Good morning, I have updated the website at White House Football to include pictures from the 2005 Football Banquet, a story recap, and all updated history of the program from 1943-2005. Thanks as always to DeWayne McDaniel for his background information prior to 1980. From the main page, you can also download the 2005 Banquet Program by going to the "downloads" section (linked twice on the main page) and you can also download a new wallpaper I have created in three different resolutions for the desktop of your computer. It contains the history of White House football by achievements and record and are reasonable file size for both dial-up and high-speed users. The Banquet Program is very heavy, though, so dial-up will take an extended period of time to download it. From the download page, you can also save logos of the football program and school and various other things. The banquet pictures can be saved by clicking on each individual picture. Sorry for the long wait to keep it updated. I've only been doing this stuff for two years and I have recently purchased new software and am in the process of getting pages converted to a smoother, more reasonable format that is written in HTML code instead of templates. Thanks for supporting the program, here is the link... White House Football Online Kris
  22. Here are some (not all) of the signings in recent past for White House players: Jon Finch - Lambuth 1980s - Mark Lamberth - WKU, but he is the only one (now a coach at White House) Wes Langford - MTSU Clint Ruth - Kentucky, first SEC player Corey Coker - Ventura, CA Brandon Barker - Maryville Kyle Levering - Maryville Cody and Cory Sullins - walked on at UT, now dressing Blake Webster - walked on at UT, now dressing Chad Broadrick - Austin Peay Landon Tate, Chris Hale and Michael Douglas all went to the military. There are also a few which have attended Cumberland in Lebanon. I know I have left some out. I would have to go look at the hallway of pictures to get them all and I don't have access to it right now. Former players Ryan Hamilton, Mitchell Parker and Brian Wise are all now helping the program in various coaching fashion. Wise is a teacher at WHMS and coaches middle school football and basketball also.
  23. I'm in Kentucky, so I have not and probably won't see the Connection this week, since we are no longer playing. However, I have a strong suspicion this letter sounds like it might have religious connotations. I have no say-so to someone who feels that way. But I can be clear in this...I am a pastor and have been an ordained minister for seven years. I have been with White House 10. Much of my wardrobe is Blue and White, and has BDP and Blue Devils all over it. My church is fairly used to seeing the logo, the letters and the clothing because the jackets make for quite comfort and warmth during this time of year. I have never had a personal conviction wearing "Blue Devils." I just don't take it that way. It's a mascot. I know my convictions and standards, but it's just never bothered me. Plus, the devil I speak of in my circles often has another color associated with it. I think he's from Jo Byrns. (JUST KIDDING, JBHS) Just my two cents.
