Chris Johnson rushed for 336 yards on 38 carries for five touchdowns against Union County tonight in the Cougars 42-35 win, breaking records for yardage, touchdowns and points in a game (32 points -- 5 TD's, one two-point conversion).
The Cougars couldn't stop the Union County passing attack, which had attempted only 35 passes in the first four games of the season reportedly.
Johnson showed a burst of speed he'd been missing early on in the season. Speaking with him after the game, he's says he's gotten himself into better shape.
It definately showed tonight as he spun, jumped, twisted and dove his way to doubling his season rushing totals.
