Any thing on the Sycamore game? I know Fairview used two pitchers, Waverly used one.

6 to 5..... Waverly wins! You saw it earlier on here. The Final will come down to Waverly and Sycamore. Almost lost, should have lost, might have lost, but did not lose!

Do not know a score, but heard it was a bad nigh for Waverly! Would say Sycamore won, probably big....?

#24 for Waverly is a Freshman. His name is Micheal Purcell, he had an older brother that also played for waverly. Purcell is a very good pitcher, he played a lot of travel ball through out jr high and what not. He will only get stronger and better. Might I also note he and the catcher, #44 have a great nitch together, they click very well.

This was the given day!! Waverly beats Sycamore 5 to 0. Pretty solid game for Waverly. 24 for Waverly pitched the whole game and did a fine job! Waverly's bats came out hot the first inning, then were quite till the 6th. Waverly hit the Sycamore pitcher pretty good but couldn't place. Sycamore's shortstop made a killer error in the 6th inning. Sycamore's outfield was very good. Thats all I have, till someone fires up..

I heard the reason Waverly lost the first was cause they didnt hit the ball at all. But now its claimed to be Harpeth's defense?...

Well I realize that.. But there are better teams than others. I think Sycamore is better than Harpeth so.. I am more worried about them.

So... Waverly gave it up in the end? Pitching must have really hurt them?...

Well, its a decent way into the season and Waverly is looking solid.. I thought It was time to start a thread about them, mainly because it seems no one has given them any credit on their wins.. Whats the rest of the district's thought on Waverly?

lol... Take the caps lock off. I agree with you about the top of the 7th. I was just pointing out that no one seems to give Waverly any credit on a win.

Now MrNoitAll, are you talking about regular season or tourney champs? Obviously they are in the drivers seat for regular season.

Well for what its worth MrNoitAll, Waverly beat up on Creek Wood last weekend in the MTSCA tourney. So idk...

Waverly is on a roll this week.. won Monday and tonight.

Waverly lost to Sycamore tonight.

Is this a one day only event?

I have to say Camden played well against Waverly, though Waverly did not play up to there potential. I do wish Camden could have beat Rossview. Anyways it was a very good tourney!
