Unless they had just a horribly off night then...I'd almost put Heritage before Carter. Central is tough and I think Alcoa deserves some credit.

Tim Hammontree of maryville a few years back was really solid, and of course George Quarles. Hes still young but has done a lot of winning already.

Everyone wants the team on top to lose. After the Celtics in the 60's, the Bulls in the 90's, even our own Olympic basketball team, and the Patriots dominate for years people start cheering against them wanting them to lose. I think that is the problem around East TN. Maryville High Football has their own dynasty going and everyone that does not cheer for Maryville wants them to lose. I think that is the reason everyone finds Maryville people to be greety, preppy, and whatever else there is because they are mad or jealous that Maryville has such a strong winning tradition. What Do you think? (By the Way...I am neither from East TN or cheer for the Rebels, I have friends over there and keep in touch with what is going on)

They did go head to head, and the reason I think Cade didnt play so well his Jr. year was becasue Alex was back and was nipping at his heels to play. The pressure was too much his junior year unlike the soph. year. Still 2002 by far. Def. a good pick, but I am going to go with the team that had Carl Stewart, Chris McCord in the back field. I think it was 2002. Cade was a soph. and led them to an undefeated season and state win over a stacked Hills. team. Also broke all kinds of scoring records and if u take a look at the scores, not many were close at all.

If Maryville is on their game they are pretty good. But them being able to play with a college with a reputation like Maryville College is stupid. No matter the college level, the step from high school to college is a major one. Maryville High will beat halls with no problem but they couldn't handle any college team. And Hey, the Fighting Scots are on the rise!

No one ever said Warren was a bad kid. We are just saying he is not as good as made out to be. If he was the stud you say he is then it doesn't matter who he plays against he should dominate. I was at the game and it was almost like he wasnt even dressed. And to say that Maryville is going to struggle?? Who will the struggle against? Take away the couple of miscues in the first half and alcoa gets stomped even worse. So saying that Maryville will struggle to make it passed the semi is possible but not likely.

To the reject that was comparing Warren to Williams...How could u ever compare the two?? One is playing at USC (should be the NFL) and the other one at Alcoa. If Warren runs a 4.6 then that must mean that i could run a 4.1 with Randy Moss. One is short and stubby and the other one is tall and lanky. There is now way that only 1 inch and 10 pounds seperate the two. Warren is a good player but in no way as good as a Wide out that plays for the National Champ.
