mcnairy Central is a lot better than #4, they lost a few really close games. If they show up to play Greenbrier might just go home early. This is a very solid team from the west.

I say SS by a coupe of TD's. They came down to Lexington with a very controlling defense and proved to be a real contender. Best of luck to region 6.

Well, playing for Lexington, and knowing how everyone feels about that loss to SS, we feel we have something to prove . Our last few games have been decided by 3 pts or less. We are a muvh better football team than these scores show. So we practice hard this week, come Friday night , we hope to show you some fireworks.

Personally, i'm against cut blocking, I havea torn PCL and am out for this season. I'll be back for my senior year next year, one good cut block could take me out for the season. I can see how it's a good tool for smaller lineman, but it can be devistating if not used correctly. I've seen some quality guys be sidelined from these blocks takin out their knees. I don't think the only way to stop a blitzing LB is to dive at his knees, and the other guy was talkin about dive at their jewels, that's not how the gameis supposed to be played. your out there to play and win with your team, not to try to seriously injure your opponent. I think the cut block might just be a little to dangeruos for HS Ball.

Lexington hasn't won the region since 1984 i beleive , but we don't live in the past do we? It's 2004 and we think we're due for a title. SO you come into our house Friday night, and you take the title away from us OK. IF you can , i'll be thoroughly impressed. Yea you have a great D, but I'm sure you'll notice ours ain't bad, the difference is we have an offense. GOOD LUCK...............

Ty Evans of Lexington is probably the best QB in 3A.

SS has a very respectable D but this is a very very high powered offense your up against, like he said ty can run and throw , hes also throwing to one of the best receivers in the STATE Kevis Buckly, Cedric feilds is gonna run hard and fast, sharing the ground attack with him will be Johnathan Deberry, Blake Booth, and Quadrus Buckly. We see it like we have no choice but to win we haven't played great these last couple of games but we're winning, we'll try to change that friday , we have instructions to put you down hard and fast. I see our defense stopping you and our O showin up big. SS-7 Lexington-21

I agree, you need to find out about some western teams there's alot of good teams that could put up a fight with your picks, try not to be so biased.

Lexington now stands alone a the top of region6-3A. Im not sure if this is true but after the game, there was talk about this being the cavs first loss at home in 30 games.

Number one, Liberty didnt man handle anyone, they got 2 quick scores off of special teams mistakes on lexington's part, don't get me wrong it as a lot better game than anyone expected but Lex, still won. As far as crockett it'll be a close one and i think its safe to say whoever wins will take the region, the cavs secondary hasn't faced a QB like evans, nor a reciever like buckley, not to mention fields and Deberry, this will be a lot closer than some are expecting, so expect fireworks from the tigers...
