Broad Axe...why don't you answer my question. If this is a thread about how Class A teams will do this year, and you're asking if they got their butts handed to them last year, explain to me what insight that provides for 2006 aside from the fact that USJ has moved to Class AA. You're either a USJ fan or your team didn't get to the final last year, so instead of trying to stir up trouble why don't you fill us in on the relevance of your post. FCS lost 9-2 to USJ and no, I do not believe that had much impact, if any, on their game against USJ. They were beat that day, and USJ was the better team. FCS lost four starting seniors. They will add a few who were ineligible last year due to transfer rules and make another run at the title. I wish them luck. I also wish you a life, Broad Axe. And coherence. And while we're at it, relevance.

Ok guys I've followed this thing for a while, and here is why this entire thread and every list on here is a complete joke. The only regions people know about on here are their own. Perfect example: not only has Friendship Christian not been on ANYONE'S top ten list, they haven't even been discussed or mentioned. I've seen Clay County as high as #2 on some people's lists, and FCS has beaten them twice, and convincingly both times. I'm not even going to pretend that I have a grasp on it...so why don't we get people from different regions to name their top two teams, and we can go from there. at least then everyone gets mentioned and we don't have the bias of a bunch from the same region waxing poetic about how good their teams are.

Please learn to spell the bwords "bogus," "instantly," "affiliated," and especially the word "embarrassing," which is exactly what your post was. Also, please check a textbook on the proper use of commas, especially in terms of possession as opposed to contractions, and learn that words such as "high school" and "in case" are not one word. The fact that everyone is having to reassure themselves that a Van Buren win will not be an upset makes me think that a Van Buren win will be an upset.

Eaglebro...explain something to me. You say that the refs tried to even up the score. Explain how that is possible when we had 12 fouls called against us in each half and your team never once reached nine. Explain to me how that is biased. I would like to say congrats to the Van Buren team...you boys played very well. You are quick off the dribble and worked well in the post. I would also like to say that for such a good team, I have never seen such uninformed fans in my life. You people whine like children. Look at the foul count and tell me how the refs tried to screw you. As for the best team winning the game, time will tell. Twice we came back from 10+ point deficits, both times without our big man inside. So we'll see...and we'll look forward to coming out there. Good luck the rest of the season.

Give Credit where credit is due. Boyd is probly the best 1a team this year and Friendship had a fairly good team that lost a good LB that put them in a bind that they couldn't get out of in the 2nd half. Friendship had the best season they have ever. Muffin who are u to say is boyd done beating on them yet! I hear you are from RBS and i know u aint going to run your mouth when FCS came up there and beat you in the FIRST HALF OF THE FIRST QUARTER. So lets give credit to Friendship b/c to get where they got is not some easy task where you just get up and play. They worked hard like everyone that got to that point. So i think its about time to show some respect to these guys.

BnL...you sure get offended easily. When did I ever say that FCS had as difficult a schedule as Boyd did? But my question definitely does make the schedule tougher, as Watertown and Gordonsville were both in the playoffs, whereas none of the teams you mentioned were. Chill.

Just wondering...what was it that kept Boyd and Whitwell tied for so long in their game last weekend. Heard it took a hail mary at the end of the half to go up 15-8. What happened?
