Not good at making predictions ,but here goes my two cents...I know D-Bs defense will show up, they have all year, and will tomorrow night. The big question is will the offense join them as well?If so D-B walks off with this one....if they don't like at Bearden, or last week they could be in a world of crap!

Question for Viking Voice since you sound like you're in the know. With the big crowd expected, parking will get crazy how strict will the cops be around the Castle? Also is there a hot spot to go before or after the game, like Applebees or State Line Bar and Grille?

The reason all these pukes get on here and trash a good thread between 2 good rivals is jealousy plain and simple. You cant fill your stands because you dont win, you feel important when someone notices you. You wont be at the game, but come 10pm Friday night you'll be on here running your mouth to the team that loses. This Friday go to the movie, go to the mall just go somewhere else but on here. Getting back to what's more important, I bet you see the trash talk decreasing the closer it gets to game time.

Ok, take a deep breath...... now let it go. It's ok to get carried away sometimes pal. Until DB wins on the field, look forward to many more blah, blah, blahs about you guys winning in the polls. Me personally, I could care less about how many band championships DB has won. It's great to be good at golf, really it is. So, back to talking about actual sports, Jefferson County has only been a high school since the late 1970's and since then they have been playing tough opponents and actually won a state title. WOW, when was the last time DB walked off the field in Middle TN with a state title in football.........huh, just as I thought. So before you begin with your whole " you need spell check, Im smart and your stupid, DB's gonna take over the world " kind of attitude, you need to realize how pathetic you really are. I'll be sure to say hello to you Friday night in Dumplin Valley. You're gonna be flying in on a helicopter with the president right? Or are you going to be busy working with Bill Gates back at your billion dollar coorporation in Kingsport........hahaha, please pal....... get a life.

Yea, GeronimoI did line up years ago, as did my son years ago. I don't yell obsenities, I sit and cheer like everyone else. I don't try to relive my glory days through my kids when I was all that-back then.I don't make a fool of myself and family by screaming my kids name out when he's on the field untill all the fans around are sick of it either.My family has had the same seats for over 35 years, so don't give me that loyal crap.I didn't say anything bad on here about any player on the team. yes I did rag the play calling , you know it stunk and almost cost the game, so quit sugar coating it and being so dramatic. I'll express my views on here the way I want to as long as it's under Coach T's rules. Quit trying to be the D-B hall monitor on here.

One more post and I'm going to bed. After watching the worst offensive coached D-B football football games I can ever remember seeing under Clark, I have to wonder why can't the team get through 1 set of downs and not able to get the plays off in time? Let's talk about running a total of 5 plays all night , with the majority of them being by the quarterback, getting lucky enough to catch a ball on the 1 and having to burn another time out to get the play in, then the stupid play of the night, 1 yard to go giving the ball to a kid that goes 150 up the middle! You got to be kidding me. The defense played good with the exception of the long run---hey, they were on the field all night long ,sooner or later someone's going to break one. How about getting the ball back under 2 min in the game and gaining 1/2 yard. The play calling looked like something from a Pop Warner game only not as well coached, or executed. Better snap your chinstraps on fans it's fixin to get rough.

Yea same old crap, and politics Catfish. We also remember a certain running back #24 a few years ago (who didn't get to start until his junior season, but was clearly the best running on the field as a freshman) when he finally got to start all you could here was he cant remember the plays, he runs too much on his own. Lets give him about 10 carries a game get 100 yards and 3 touchdowns and thats enough(until we need him and give him the ball for 293 yards against Oakridge that is) Anyone can see favorites are a sad part of the game, at least at D-B.

Maryville looked good at times, you could tell they were close to breaking free several times for long gains. D-B has a lot of problems on offense, they can't open a hole anywhere on the line and when they do the only kid thats fast enough on the team to go through is #3 and he wont even start! Clearly the Burton kid moved the ball better than Mccord, and should get the start, but I bet he dosen't. D-B's special teams looked pretty good,got off some good punts and blocked 1. Maryville wasn't as big as I thought they would be, but really made up for it when they hit . The Rebel defense is very fast up front , the only spot that might be a little questionable is the corners on deep passes. D-B had 2 touchdowns dropped 1 was a little high but the other pass to #6 hit him between the numbers(looked like Gaines in the Riverdale game a few years ago). Overall I'd say the Rebel yell will be alive and well in November, good luck to a class team hope you win it all again, and sorry about your flag, but that's what the world's coming to, just ask Florida
State. As for D-B, I'm afraid we are in some bad trouble,but 7-3 is my sad prediction.

I've gone to most scrimmages the last 10 years or so ,and I'm always optimistic at least the 1st one, but we need a LOT of work!

well that clears things up a bit...why is it that everyone in this area hates Science Hill so much?
I dont mean hate as in I want you to get hit by a bus or some crap like that, Everyone hates D-B in football but a lot of people still pull for us in the playoffs.D-B vs the Hill has always been a bitter fight. I wish we had more games left so we could be hated too! Good Luck

Thanks Kat, wish you guys were in it , dont seem right, playoffs with no Oakridge. You'll be back next year.
