Gordonsville made a strong run last year. Anyone know who they have coming back? How will they be this year?

Trousdale County is starting a track team this spring. Some of the softball players (and baseball players) are wanting to play both sports. Anyone else had this issue before? Can it work?

They do have some athletes left on the team, and they do hit well. But they will need to play errorless defense without her. I am not sure who their pitcher will be now, but I am assuming she will not be as dominate as the senior pitcher was.

This is close, but I thought Watertown lost several starters and got a new coach too?

Yes, I agree with you. Hartsville would be a great choice if she can work that out with her parents. I am sure they would love to have her. I just hate to see a player with that much talent not play somewhere, especially in her senior season. She has worked so hard to get this far and not be able to play somewhere. Last year she talked on Coach T some, so maybe she will read this and decide to pursue it. I wish her the best of luck and good luck to you and your team this season too!

Yea! Hartsville would be a great choice! That would really help their team, having a player of that caliber join what they already have. She played for them last summer in a league and did a great job. She could possibly play in- County and not have to move, but would have to move to play out of County, to be elgible. FCS would not need her as bad as a local County school would, so her pitching time would be limited.

I am sure there is more to the story than we know, I am just not sure how a team could run off a player who is that good. She was probaly the best all around player on the team. She may may decide to play somewhere else if they cannot get things worked out?

She seemed very nice and to be a very good athlete. Maybe they were jeolous of her? I do not think they will be as good without her, she is a very good pitcher. That can make or break a team!

Rumer is she left the team because some of the other players did not like her. Also Boyd C. is out and Merrol Hyde is in. Not sure if FCS can win state, but they do have a better chance now.

It will be a miracle if FCS is not on top, they have top pitchers every year. Westmoreland will also be tough if their pitcher from last year decides to return to the team. Watertown has a new coach, not sure what that will mean, plus they lost a couple key players. Trousdale keeps getting better each year, but they need some confidence, if they can get that early they may make a run. They had no seniors last year, and only four Jrs. Gordonsville may be the team to watch. Surprised some people at end of last year with their run. Should be an interesting year!
