I heard thompson said if some of our games were on TV it would take away from home attendence (which is crazy) I also heard he was asking like 10,000 for them to put our games on TV

Yes they did, sold out a huge listening base IMO. It is a good thing there is not another sports station in the area. I wrote the directer and he told me tough, basically!
I told him I would not buy from the business advertised during the broadcasts of those great battles between knotz Cath and those other powers like wortburg they will be playing! It's my money and won't be thiers!
CSS is not allowed at Maryville because the AD from Maryville wanted to shake the company down for some cash, so they won't come and instead brodcast other boring games rather than the best in the area. AM 1470 does a good job but you can't hear the station because the range won't reach as far as Greenback! And the Knotz Central vs. Maryville game this week will be the best of the year in this area till they meet in the play-offs later this year. I bet the Alcoa vs. Maryville game would have been a great viewing audence this year as well.
Great way to support the program and people who can't come to the game there Thompson. I guess if your nephew was the still playing it would be different? Gee maybe it is some type of black out scheme? Just the way I see it!

My comments about teachers and school admin. being held to the same standard were based on testing for drugs other than steriods. The testing for steriods should be included with other drugs, IMO. I personally, can vouch for the during and "after" effects of steriods. Looking at me today, you would know that in my early 20's I experienced with steriods for about 8 months. I can assure everyone, the side effects, during and after usage, are not worth the gain. 20 yrs later I still feel the "after" effects. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!!!

if kids knew when the drug tests were coming all the cleansing pills and drinks they have now would pass them. that is why they should go with random.
but does a coach have to send a form that has to be signed by player and parent to drug test? or can they just drug test anyone with no warning?

who ever said golden is like randy moss is exactly right. if the plays not for him he doesnt even take a step off the line of scrimmage. BUT he is a great athlete and a tremendous football player. i have played agaisnt him and when we went down to pjp2 i saw in their weightroom where it listed 40's bench etc. it said his 40 was a 4.5 something but that was last year when he was a sophmore, dont know what it is now.
i think he is the best all around athlete/football player in the state. 2nd Brandon Warren

oh and the other reason webb will win and the reason theyve won the last 2 years is because of the wing t. the big disadvantige to having a big and not so fast line is when the opponent is running the wing t because there are so many fakes and misdirections and what was the score agaisnt maryville in the regular season?? umm i believe yall lose by umm 40 pts. oh and i never said webb was the only team to work on fundamentals and basics... what are you talking about?

ok everybody knows who cody watts is, thank you. webb slowed him down enough the past 2 years to get the win and it wont be any different this year. lee smiths 40 is a 5.16 and im positive because HE told me that. and thats pretty darn slow. webb will slow watts down and jay courtney and thrower are nothing, the only factor will be if webb can stop smith cause he didnt play last year

that is a real good point about not having to worry about tyler clendenen he was a big time playmaker last year agaisnt powell with his 99 yard kickoff return on the first play of the oppening season his freshman year that is pretty impressive. he was also a tough cornerback and hard to throw his way. he had many great returns and powell was kicking away for him all night. that gives powell the advantage on special teams i think powell has the chance to break a punt or kickoff for a td with their great athletes.

tyler clendenen from webb starts on varsity as a cornerback and he is there return guy. he had a kickoff return of 99 yards agaisnt powell and he has a long return just about everygame. very fast athlete
