Ok, so you didn't make it to the playoffs, but guys, let me tell you.......you have given us parents and spectators a WILD ride this season. I can't remember the last time I saw such an exciting season in high school football. Your last 5 games of the season..........win or lose.........were about the most intense football I've ever watched. You guys have so much to be proud of this year. This team broke the losing streak........and came very close to making it to the playoffs. What a turn around, and it was YOU, the 2004 football team that turned it around!!!!! It's a season that your graduating seniors will never forget............and thank you for that. Thank you for letting these seniors graduate with the satisfaction of KNOWING, they had a GREAT football season their senior year. We, the parents and spectators are so very proud of all of you. GREAT job, and all the best of luck to you all next year! WE LOVE OUR RICHLAND RAIDERS!!!!!!!!

I hope that Richland will pull this off Friday Night. I think they have the ability to do it, if their heads don't mess them up. They are still a little down from the loss to Lewis County. But I have to tell you, it's been GREAT watching them play football this year. So a win Friday Night means they go to Huntingdon in the first round. Any chance at all for the Raider Team once they reach playoffs?

Don't know how it is now........but I do know for a fact when my son was a sophomore, he had to play the whole game Friday night and then turn around and play a JV game on Mondays. I remember being very upset about this, because he never got anytime to recover between games.

AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!!! He probably isn't tough enough to even play football......looks to me like Golf is his game.......and if one of our best golfers hadn't broke his wrest and couldn't compete in Regionals........he'd probably get beat BY RICHLAND on the golf course!!! He needs to go play putt putt golf somewhere while us GROWN UPS talk about football.

Richland's Defense has been key this year.........so Lewis County better get ready to pass. Look at how they held Creekwood. Look how they continually stopped Waverly the other night. Richland keeps getting better and better with each game. If we can stop some of the predictability.........then they will go far. Offensively, both teams scored pretty much the same against Cheatham County and Fairview. Richland playing these teams at the beginning of the season, and Lewis County, playing these contenders these past two games. I don't know how much Lewis County has improved with the season.......but Richland has dramatically improved with the season. In short, when Richland played awful, they still scored about the same as Lewis County against these 2 top teams. Richland doesn't fair as well in this comparison on defense......but again........that was at the beginning of the season. And when it comes to Lewis County, Richland has always made them work for the win in years past.....even during their 20 game loosing streak. So it'll be close........but I know for a fact.....RICHLAND IS HUNGRY!!!!

Richland 17 Waverly 15. All I can say is you had to be there to see the grand finish!!!! Richland Scores with a Field Goal with 4.4 seconds left in the game. This after two absolutely incredible plays by Richland's Offense. Man O Man, What a GAME!!!!

What you folks keep forgetting..........is this is NOT the same ole same ole RICHLAND!!!! You are describing the Richland of last year and the year before. But whatever...........the proof will be in the pudding.

I'm no expert, but I say Richland 21 Waverly 6. Both teams have lost already to Cheatham County and Fairview, with Waverly loosing by a wider margin, all be it not much wider. Richland is now 2 - 5 for the season while Waverly is 1-6 for the season. Of the 5 games that Richland has lost........they scored a total of 50 points, while of the 6 games that Waverly has lost.......they scored a total of 20. You also have to take into contention, that this is NOT the same Richland team that played Cheatham County and Fairview. They have had a taste of Region Victory and they are hungry for more. All negativity is gone, and this team has come together as a TEAM!!!! Each week, they are playing better and better. They want the playoffs and all I can say is.........GO RAIDERS GO!!!!

Just a slight correction. Harpeth travels to Richland for Richland's Homecoming Game.

Look for Giles Co to talk alot of "smack" on the field. #30 needs an attitude adjustment........in good sportsmanship. #82 ran his mouth too much which is why he had to be put in his place. The strutting and celebrating after each good play is just a bit too cocky. They like to play dirty, so I hope Lewis Co puts them in their place. You have to contain Johnson though.

I think the game will be played tonight. Rains have moved out. But for the record, this is NOT the same ole Raiders. Don't see them winning by 30 points, but I think a WIN is possible. And it's not about the size on the line, it's their strength and determination.........which this team does have this year. But Fairview, just keep on thinking this is going to be an easy win.......that' exactly where we want your mind to be.
