how did the heritage girls do?

Did any of you out there have some trouble running in the weather?

Wow finally i am warmed up again. What a cold day for a track meet. It was quite hard to finally run my events after freezing outside for hours but well worth it. i really enjoyed the caber toss and the bagpipes. The kilted mile was so funny. I wish more schools would do fun themed meets like this.

Yeah that was a great game i was out of my seat the entire time!!! Unfortunately i noticed alot of bad sportsmanship on the warriors side. There were two girls in pink standing in the front row that kept flipping heritage fans off. I was shocked. Great image mcewen!

Anyone catch the lady pats at jo byrns friday jan 21?! What a game. That was definately one of the most exciting games i have seen in a long time. I was out of my seat. Though the final score was jo byrns 74 pats 72 after overtime, the pats played very well! I wish they would play like that everygame they would definately be 2nd in their district. You can tell how much better they play when alot of pressure is put on them or when they are expected to lose.(jo byrns homecoming) I also enjoyed seeing the girls on the bench getting into the game and supporting their teammates. I also enjoyed the fact that they played together and they weren't argueing they played a great game!

Why does it seem that everyone likes to put this team down? They are obviously young and the program has only been going on for 2 yrs now. They only have 1 senior:Jacie, and no juniors. I think people should open their eyes to how hard this team has worked. I've been to a couple of the games myself and have seen alot of improvement in their defense and ball handling. Right now one thing they should improve though is their rebounding/blockouts. They should also have more faith in themselves and try to shoot the ball themselves instead of depending on jacie to shoot it. They are good and should just believe in themselves. Good job Coach Dupree for believing in this young team. Hopefully you will stick with them as they continue to grow stronger. Fans can tell you are working hard with these girls. Keep it up Lady Patriots!!! thumb
