WESTENN

Westview's 2-2 record is very deceiving. They took 3A power Crockett County to the wire, and an interception return for a TD late in the game did them in. They also took Milan to the last posession, and had Westview's coach allowed their quarterback to throw the ball like he has against Obion County and Humboldt, they very well could have beaten Milan. Also against Milan, Westview appeared to not have a field goal kicker (lost 14-12), but against Humboldt on the college goalposts at UTM, it was totally different. I feel Huntingdon has the better team, but will know they have been in a game when it is over. Westview is still one year away from being a good team. Huntingdon wins, but it will be closer than most people think.

Dresden beat Trenton and should have beat Humboldt. South Fulton struggled with Gleason. I don't think South Fulton is close to being in the same class as Dresden. Dresden will beat them as bad as they want to.

Milan is not close this year to the team they had last year. They were very fortunate to beat Westview, and had the Westview coach allowed their quarterback to throw the ball like he has the past 2 weeks, Milan would not have beaten them. Milan might be the 3rd or 4th best 2A team in West Tennessee behind Huntingdon and Camden, and possibly McKenzie. JCM is the best team of any class in West Tennessee. You will see that Friday night. JCM by at least 2 touchdowns.
