  1. Coalfield will not underestimate CAK but CAK is 1-4 on the season Oakdale or even Jellico has better records. Another thing is Midway only beat CAK by 3 points thats saying bad things for Midway Coalfield has the talent to blow away both the Greenwaves and CAK we just need to stay level headed and not get to far ahead of ourselves. Midway and CAK will be competitive....AND Greenback will be Coalfields only real test.
  2. I heard Newberry had a little suprise for Coalfield, well goodluck cause there aint no suprises gonna beat The Jackets! Strap em on Tight!
  3. Duran Ferguson is also one of the best QBs in the state!
  4. SRRRY about that your right D-B is one of the best teams in the state.
  5. 1. Maryville (5-0): The Rebels can win the "Blount County Championship" with a victory against William Blount tonight. They already have victories against Alcoa and Heritage. 2. Oak Ridge (3-1): The Wildcats bounced back from their loss to Dobyns-Bennett two weeks ago. 3. Austin-East (4-0): The banged-up Roadrunners just want a chance to get healthy. A 21-0 win against Loudon was a confidence boost considering the absence of running back Albert Harris. 4. Central (4-1): The Bobcats are gearing up for another major showdown in Region 3- 4A with Maryville in a few weeks. 5. Catholic (4-0): The Irish continue to climb the ranks. Catholic players believe they are among the Division II-2A elite and they’ve proved it on the field. 6. Farragut (5-0): The Admirals wanted to reach their open week unbeaten and they made it. The brutal part of their schedule is yet to come. 7. Alcoa (4-1): The Tornadoes and Rockwood are on a collision course for supremacy in Region 2-2A. Alcoa dominated Sweetwater in the rain last week. 8. Lenoir City (4-0): How about those Panthers? Second-year head coach Nick White has a ton of seniors, a talented running back and Lenoir City proved it’s for real with a victory at Fulton. 9. West (4-1): The Rebels have the kind of offensive punch that is going to give a lot of teams trouble. 10. Coalfield (5-0) This team has finally jelled into a real threat watch for coalfield to make it deep into the playoffs.
