I was talking about HC. McEwen just got outplayed last Friday. About the #1 seed, it first goes by all around record in the district and then the tie breaker is the win loss record to the next highest seed which is East. McEwen beat East twice so they are the regular season winners. McEwen has won it three years in a row, but as we saw last year, regular season championship is just that, the REGULAR season champion. After everyone's last regular season game everyone starts out 0-0, anybody can beat anybody.
-
We WILL see who the real champ is a week from Friday. If McEwen comes ready to play every game they will be in the ship, as for Heritage yall also have to come ready to play and probably come through East. Not an easy road for either team cuz you can't overlook anybody, as McEwen learned a few weeks ago.

McEwen was as focused as they could be. I'm sure CPA was ready to play cuz they had EIGHT seniors playing what could be their last home game ever. McEwen shut down CPA with hustle and good defense. Also no one could contain Puckett, the Lions tryed many different players on him but he was either scoring or dishing to the wide open man. Also its hard for CPA to win when you hold their primary scorer to SEVEN points.

First both teams have to finish the regular season, then districts, then regions, but it would be nice to see McEwen and Waverly in the 'Boro.

Im sick of Heritage people saying McEwen has no class. How would yall know what class is? Yall have not showed any when yall played us. McEwen is classy to people and teams that are also classy to them. I'm sure CPA will have nothing bad to say because they are class acts so we return the favor. And by the way, McEwen is #1 in district 10A. #1 plays #8 and if I'm not mistaken, McEwen plays Clarksville Academy on Tue.

Thanks for the respect sportfreak, yall aren't to bad yourselves. If these two teams meet in the region championship, which I hope they will, it will a great game to see. Good luck in the district, hope to play you again.

Great game by both teams!! It was a tourny like game with both crowds into it. I'm not trying to be smart, but whoever said Sikes would shut down Puckett got themself proved very wrong. Puckett had a double-double, three dunks and he could not be stopped. McEwen proved they are not overrated and that they have a strong supporting cast behind Puckett. Kudos to CPA for a good effort because there were plenty of times when they could have given up but they kept fighting. Good luck to CPA's players and fans because yall are all class acts. Oh yeah, great D by McEwen, Sikes only had seven.

All I'm gonna say is Corey is a bad, bad man.

I'm not to sure about that McEwen upset in the 2nd round but I will agree it will be a good tourny.

Tonight the McEwen Warriors travel to CPA for a huge game. Both teams are number 1 in their district and this should show where both teams stand in the region. CPA must be playing pretty good after the whooping of Heritage last night. Should be a packed house with lots of excitment. I'm not even gonna predict a score cuz its to close to call. I will say McEwen wins a close one though. Huge, huge game. I hope lots of people show up to see it, CPA got some crazy fans!! Good luck to both teams. Go Warriors!

Where are all the Heritage fans?? They usually like to talk all kinds of crap.

I hope yall are not implying that McEwen is afraid to play Sante Fe. If McEwen was scared they would not have scheduled it. McEwen's grils coach coaches the Middle school and he's got to be at the middle school state tourny on Saturday. Also, the freshman have their tourny on Saturday night so how do you propose the McEwen athletic director be in two places at one time. Make up all the crap that you want but if there was a way McEwen would have been there. I will promise all of you McEwen, and their coach, is not afraid of any team. I speak for everyone when I say it's a shame it couldn't happen cuz it might have been a good one. I wish nothing but luck to "The Fe" I hope you wish the best for us in return.

Everyone who says McEwen is a one man is very wrong. On many occasions Puckett has played bad games and everyone around him steps up. At Heritage he had a down game and McEwen, without Trey Smith, still walked out with the win. If one man is very good and the rest of his team stinks the team might be decent, but not 19-1. How can a team that has only lost one game be overrated when they are ranked 8th on this website?? And I'm willing to bet that the "AP" knows more about ranking teams than you people.
-
What time does the game start?? Is it a night or day game??

Oh my fault, when I said it was a fluke I did not know that I said McEwen is still undefeated. No wait, I didn't say they were, I just said it was a fluke, ya know, bullcrap. If McEwen played them again McEwen would be ready and they would beat them like they should have then. And to allregionpatriot, you can hate on McEwen all you want but the truth is the Warriors run district 10A, not Puckett, the Warriors. You know the 19-1 McEwen Warriors who beat you two weeks ago on your own court, and Puckett was not even the leading scorer. If all their other players suck than how have they won so many games, did Puckett do that all by himself, cuz I sure know he did not win it by himself a Heritage. Oh yeah, I left out McEwen beat you without the second leading scorer.

Puckett 6'7 F, McEwen. Also had 8 dunks in one game this year.

Ha Ha, the "great" Waverly Tigers got beat by Lewis County!!! Good job LC!!

White House Heritage comes to McEwen just two weeks after playing them at White House. McEwen is at the top of the district with Heritage close behind. The Warriors have played very well at home and look pretty good right now, espeacially with the absence of Smith. If McEwen plays like they did last time I don't see them losing at home. Well I say McEwen by 6, a close game.

Moose, McEwen needs to take it one game at a time, as you all do. The first two games of regions are the most important. You gotta just focus on winning the game ahead of you, not already thinking about the region championship game. All the teams left now are good so anyone can beat anyone. You never know, Heritage may be more than you expecting.
