I do have to agree with you that the end of season poll is normally right on the money, but the mid season weekly changes are a bit to be desired! mjuhb does do a great job, and too bad you have to be a Coach to vote on the Eurosport poll. I beleive that if you stay un-biased, anyone with a strong sense of the game, and that has been following it for years (mjuhb), should have a vote. Too bad Coach T doesn't have his own standings!

Getting back to the Eurosport poll..... Is this the 'official' state ranking? Or are there other 'official' rankings. Honestly, I'd like to see THIS poll take the 'un' away from unofficial, you put more time into your rankings, and have a basis to follow, not just the 'good ol boy' system. I've heard that in order to have a casting vote on Eurosport, each Coach needs to pay dues to a certain organization. Doesn't sound un-biased to me.

Seeing CCS play first hand... they are well deserving of a Redmond ranking. They are as good as you are going to get.

Curious... How does Dobyns-Bennet get a 9th place ranking on your poll, and a tied 11th place ranking on Eurosport without playing any strong teams? Looks like they have not played any ranked teams as of today on their schedule.

Moving Shelbyville to #7, eh? I just hope that this ranking doesn't go to the girls head! Winning tonight put them as top seed in District 8. Their next game will be Thurs. against Coffee County who I heard lost to Tullahoma 3-1(?). Also, the District 8 JV Tournament will be in Shelbyville this year on Oct. 1st (this Saturday). I think that it starts at 8am, but I'm not sure.

Shelbyville's team is pretty much the same way... 2 Sr's (1 starts), 5 Juniors (4 start), and the rest are pretty much Soph's, with some good Freshmen.

Great poll, hopefully people can start looking at Region 4 with a little more respect seeing that you have 3 teams in the top 11!

Yeah Siegel might be pretty good this year, but I wouldn't be too proud for a win over Warren County! Their true test is going to be in the Regionals over either Tullahoma or Shelbyville.

Looks like Shelbyville is on a nice little roll! They've got 2 District games next week which should put them as top seed in district 8, then they will play Brentwood to end the regular season. A little more chemistry between these girls on the field, and they are going to be a hard team for anyone to beat for the next few years.

What a great game! Shelbyville scored in the 70th minute to put it away. The Shelbyville goalie (Bobo) had 14 saves while the Tullahoma goalie had 8. It's going to be a great Division play off in a couple of weeks!

Let's talk about a big Rivalry coming up next Thursday night (9/22).... Shelbyville vs. Tullahoma. Tullahoma might be looking for some revenge after Shelbyville won District VIII last year, but I know that alot of the Shelbyville girls want to be the first team to hand them a loss at their home field. Either way, I think that it'll end up being a one point game.

Gotta say that Stephanie Bobo from Shelbyville is doing an outstanding job for the Eaglettes. She has no formal training and is only a Junior. Great job to her!

CCS beat Shelbyville with 2 great players in the mid-field, #13 & #15. They were the playmakers throughout the game. But I do have to say that our Girls in Shelbyville played an outstanding weekend, and held tough the first two games. They just ran out of steam for the final game.
