  1. Big dust....you have said that the coach from hamilton is not a good coach because he was pounding his chest and some other antics describe by you...think about this if you are a christian, if you sin, does that make you a bad christian....with that said we all make mistakes and I'm sure you have made them as well.....I have to agree with you on one thing that the coach from hamilton is not a good coach because he is a great coach....good coaches get to the championship and great coaches win them....good coaches (coaches that don't win any championship) will be remembered as people who made it to the big dance but they didn't win it...whereas great coaches (coaches that win championships) will go down in history....you can have all the talent in the world but if you can't make them play as a team then you will not win the big one....it's like having a puzzle with all the pieces and not knowing where to put them to complete it...Coach Lawson had all the pieces, however, if he didn't know how to make them play as a team then they wouldn't be the 8 best team in the nation....if you was paying attention to the game, they played good defense like it should be played the whole game....and they also ran their offense the way it should have been ran.....I think the coach from Hamilton did an excellent job by maximizing the talent he had....Don't down a brotha...crown him for a great season....39-0....name another good coach that accomplished that and won the championship....I don't think you can...LOL.....Great Job Hamilton... :thumb:

ever heard of a coach named Geno from UCONN he did it and he is one of the classiest men and a Great ball coach but if you want to day tell you a high school coach that did it i cant right now none come to mind but in another sport we can say coach Rankin from Riverdale he did it

  2. He is not one of the best ball handlers in the state why even post something like this, the man carries the ball on every dribble and folds under good defense

ya and refs are supposed to cut down on all the traveling next year so we will see how he does when they actually call him for carrying

  3. yea it is...especially watchin em and thinking man hes good...then thinking man hes only a sophomore....mario said tyler is a baller too...im definately gonna try and go watch him sometime...i hear hes cold off the dribble

ya his shot is his best thing and the boy can play defense also cant wait to see him play when hes a senior i also would like to see mario play as well

  4. tyler cutter is already on that team..i think he wants to know what sophomores are talented in west tenn. and east tenn. hes got two of the most talented sophomores in the state from middle tenn. already on the team

ya i know they are on the team im just stating that he has college potential and as does your sophmore you get to watch play on a regular bases man isnt it great to have outstanding young guys

  5. He is quite correct. Sam is the only one that saw significant playing time with Bass. Cord would have but for the ankle injury, and Josh was a second string receiver. We now have the players to replenish thr ranks in all postions. Good teams are good because they have players that step up and make plays and we have those.

i dont agree with the Burnett as one of the top QB's in the Mid State and Josh was a starting Safety and ya Cord was a good player too bad the injury came up and i heard he is going to go play football for Memphis next year i havent been able to ask him myself becuase i havent seen him lately but is there any truth to that

  6. Big Dusty....just think about what you would have been doing if our team won. That would seem like nothing compared to what some of our people would have done. Give it a rest, anyone would be going crazy in that situation. Easy to look at from the outside but put yourself in his shoes.

well im a different aspect i can go crazy i am a fan but im sure coach Harris would not have acted like that and you know it he is not like that in anyway

  7. rumor is that pico nance will be at siegel next yr and that will be BIG cause he is heck of a runningback...

hope he doesnt come to Siegel beacause we already have the now runningback and the future running back at Siegel Pico would get no playing time and he wouldnt make the basketball team neither becuase Coach harris has decided not to take any player with a history of attitude problems so i dont see Pico doing anything but walking the halls if he comes to Siegel unless hes good at track or something that involves no talking

  8. Lee was a flat out STUD in high school. Unfortunately, he didn't have a very strong supporting cast. Not only was he an incredible offensive player player, he was a lock down defender on the perimeter( Just like he is at FLORIDA not Maryland. Don't you watch any SEC games? He's only one of the top 3 pt shooters in the SEC. He just should have left the training wheels on his bike though because he missed several games after a bike wreck on campus) FLORIDA only had to watch him once to be sold and that was after Buzz Peterson dropped the ball after getting him to verbally commit and then changing his mind.

i meant so say Maryville my mistake and ya i stated he plays for Florida but glad to know he was amazing i like watching the kid

  9. You saw the 3rd string QB starting b/c both Burnett and Mc Gowan are in baseball. You didn't see the starting FB b/c he was injured, Lil Mac, and our 2 yr starting center was injured as well. So...truthfully, our offense can't really be judged yet. Our last yr's starting LB's also were not playing as well as 2 way starter PJ polk who is in baseball.

Again...you weren't there for the whole scrimmage so I don't think you are an accurate judge of our program offensively. Precious made several great runs, as did Bass. We also had several nice passes. There are TWO Burris brothers who are running the ball......double threat there. We have some fresh legs for sure. Once everyone is back in place.......things will run more smoothly on O. I was pleased with what I saw on D even w/o everyone there.

Not being a smart ellic in any way but why dint you apply for head coach i mean you have a ring and your obviously intellegent on football and could probly do a beter job than ferg sure hes a nice guy and all i just question his playcalling and knowledge of his team and he just kicks off too many good players for as far as ive known Oakland has kicked off some great athletes (Marcus Crawford,Daryll Smith,Sam Youree) thats three of the past four years they have kicked off some of the best players to ever come thorugh Oakland
