KingBrian3, You are Bryan (sp?) Langley? ...wow...I didnt know that you read these posts. Since you read the posts I cant help but go after you a little.....I dont personally know you... but your writing stinks. Have you ever been criticized by an outside source? Its amazing to me how many people that you have defending you in these posts... Obviously you have a lot of fans. Is it a lot different when you are the one being written about? You should be appreciative that you have the opportunity to defend yourself.... the kids that you write about never get that opportunity. I will defend them. I know they read these posts and they will be laughing at this one..... Little ole you? Last time I saw you at a game it looked like you had put on about 20 pounds. Brian Langley talked about how good Wartburg was all year. And now they got hammered by CAK. He has no idea what he is talking about. He needs to write about the bad attitudes from Hamby and the Shannon brothers. CAK, what what.

For the most part in the area, I enjoy what sportswriters have to say about local talent. They are talented, reporting games with good information and fairly judging the skill of local players. But from time to time I am mystified a the lack of skill and talent of some hometown sportswriters. Am I wrong by thinking that sportswriters should report fairly about local games without a judgemental eye? The Morgan County news sportswriter, I think his name is Langley, has to be the worst. How does a guy like this get a job? Most people learn to read and write in the third grade and then we move on to bigger and better things in life. Talented writing is something that is necessary, something vital to fair news reporting... somebody who lives his high school days through the pen is something totally different. I am a CAK fan and I read some of his articles after the district tournament. Luckily I have the pleasure of reading the Knoxville guys articles instead of the hometown garbage that the guy puts out. What do you all think??

My point wasnt that Wartburg is a bad team. They are very good, well balanced and they have a shot at the regional title. My point is that your district MVP is not really an MVP. Guys who are MVP's dont miss late game free throws,... they knock them down. And point guards who are true MVP's dont turn the ball over down the stretch. If CAK plays Wartburg in the Regionals, I hope that Shannon is still the point guard. In the 4th quarter last night he had more passes to CAK than he did Wartburg.

Wartburg was up 20 last night, then Shannon had three straight turnovers on three trips down the court. Then he missed the front end of not one, not two, but three one and ones. I am a CAK fan and it was like he was trying to let us back in the game. How does the district MVP choke down the stretch like that.... at least the next time we know who to put on the foul line with the game on the line.
