Well first I'd like to say congrats to Campbell Co. for making the playoffs again. Well I see alot of talk of DB this and DB that and nothing about a team that beat them and eventually won the Region 1 title and that is Bearden. I haven't seen anyone else give them that much credit. I don't think they will make it all the way but I will definately say further than DB. I know a lot of people are already calling for the Region 2 sweep over Region 1, but i think the Bulldogs can pull one out over the Owls. Another team that hasnt been talked much about, and hey theyre from out west. This would be the 10-0 Millington team. Oh well I will leave it as this as I need to get some sleep before work.

Well its time for the big rival to continue, as the Cougars head south to Karns. Both teams come in 2-7, the difference Karns has a region win. The Cougars are looking to claim a region game to end the year on a good note. This going to be a hard and close scoring game.

Well it wasnt 70-0 like I first predicted, would have been if DBs varsity played the whole game. I think DB will do well till they play the Ooltewah Owls in the playoffs

I agree I would like see them getting winning mode again, and its not impossible to do this. Its when they decided they can do this. I do hope for the best and eventually the Cougars will do well again

Well its time for the long trip for DB to head to Campbell Co. As usual the two live up to what there known as the DB the king of 5A-1 and the Cougars feeling comfy on the bottom. Well after coming back from Sci Hill with not even one point on the board. Well even though I am from Campbell Co. and I should be supporting them, its hard against the juggernaut of DB. I dont give my predictions early, I am this time. So DB - 70 something and for the Cougars like last week - 0 note: After seeing the Cougars lose to Bearden, I think im starting lose it with them. It will be another 30 years for a winning season.

Yep, it was win for the Bulldogs, Campbell Co. had many problems, again. I figured by now they get over high snapping the ball. It was a heavy penalties for both sides all night. Well its off to Sci Hill for the Cougars while the Bulldogs travels to take on the Sevier Co. Smoky Bears.

Well im gonna make my prediction: Bearden Bulldogs - 38 Campbell County Cougars - 7

Well its Homecoming for the Cougars. The much improved Bulldogs come up I-75 looking to wreck the homecoming fun of Campbell Co. Last year, it was a disaster for the Cougars as the came home shut out 41-0. This year, I hope the Cougars will fair better but I think Bearden will most likely do the same again.

I think it will be close cause it has been that way for the last few years. Either team could win so no prediction here.

Like Campbell Co., Farragut is going to have to stop Heritage's running back unless he was injured worse than I thought. He is pretty tough and hard to bring down. Right now I can say I think it will a decent game.

Well its time to open up regional games for these two. Campbell Co. is coming off a disappointing lost to Heritage. On the other side Jefferson Co. lost Mo West. The big question is who can bounce back best. Good luck to both teams.

Heritage's running back is pretty tough, it took a lot to stop him. If it weren't for a few errors by the Cougars it would have pretty close. Good Job to the Mountaineers. Good luck to them against Farragut and luck as well to the Cougars taking on Jefferson County.

Cougars does better than the Wyoming and Kentucky Campbell County schools both known at the Camels. You also have the Powel High Panthers so you already have one school with that name. Funny note Rutledge once placed Thomas Walker, Va both are the Pioneers, both colors are blue and grey, and they use same pioneer guy emblem. Im still thinking this going to be a good game between Campbell Co. and Heritage.

I think this a good match up two teams coming of wins in week 0

Jessica Shultz played for Jellico and is credited with being the first girl to score a touchdown.

If Campbell Co.'s Freshman hold up as they did this season, we may see another run by the Cougars in the coming years like they did in 2004.

Well after their first winning season and playoff appearance Campbell Co. 7-4, they come back this year and finish last in Reg. 1 5A at 1-9, a comeback win over Union Co. in the 4th qtr saved them from a complete winless season.

Well after reading this, heh what can ya say. Well one thing is it will probably be UGLY. 2. See someone try or start a fight. Hmm. Sadly thats about it

Hmmm, wow someone much less one from a visiting school, likes Dossett Stadium and the look of the school. Unfortunetly the school was never designed for over 1400-1500, so its crowded. All I can say for the stadium is the not the best or the worst. The only problem would be sitting on concrete for the whole game. Though the new field house has vastly improved that area.
